He spoke at the Eden 2nd Ward on February 25. Returning Missionaries Elder Reggie Willson, son of Brad and Jami Willson of Liberty, served in the California Los Angeles Mission. He spoke at the Liberty 1st Ward, in Eden, on February 25. Births Clint and Eve Robins of Eden had a baby girl on February 15. Landell Stephen and Deana Louise Froerer of Huntsville, had a baby boy on February 15. Eagle Scouts Nathan Hastings Nathan Hastings, 17, of Troop 16, Liberty LDS 3rd Ward has earned his Eagle Scout Award. Nathan is the son of Michael and Holly Hastings of Eden. He is a junior at Weber High School. Weddings Venable-Hall Exchanging nuptial vows Thursday, February 22, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple were the former Britney Forest Venable and Edward Dean Hall. The bride is a daughter of Chad and Kathy Venable of Liberty. Parents of the bridegroom are the late Dean and Cheryl Hall. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Denton and Alda Lee Hall of Plain City. A reception at the Valley Junction Inn was held afterward. She chose Ashley Sutter as matron of honor. Blake Hall was best man. The couple will live in Plain City after their wedding trip to Mexico. He works for Saunders Construction, and she works at Crestwood Care Center as a certified nursing assistant. She graduated from Weber High School and attends Weber State University. Scott Hastings, 15, of Troop 16, Liberty LDS 3rd Ward has earned his Eagle Scout Award. Scott is the son of Michael and Holly Hastings of Eden. He is a ninth-grader at Snowcrest Junior High School. Lee – Furgeson LIBERTY – Jason Furgeson of Liberty, and Angie Lee of Pleasant View, were married on March 2, 2001 by Bishop Rulon Jones. The couple enjoyed a garden reception with growing plants and butterflies, while snow softly fell outside. The bride was escorted by three bridesmaids: Tiffany Furgeson, Karen Casperson, Cami Costley and the sweetest little flower girl, Madisen Furgeson. Standing by the groom was Chad Furgeson, best man and Tyden Furgeson ring bearer. The bride’s parents are Richard Lee of Ogden and Ilene Lee of Pleasant View. Kim Furgeson of Tempe Arizona and Debra Furgeson of Liberty are the groom’s parents. In love today, tomorrow and always. May God bless Jason and Angie’s union! The couple will reside in North Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Jason Furgeson Obituaries Pearl Rose Bishop KAYSVILLE - Pearl Rose Flowers Bishop, 86, passed away Monday, February 26, 2001 at McKay-Dee Hospital from causes incident to age. She was born September 15, 1914 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Lionel and Sarah Ann Smart Flowers. She married Haines Jarman Bishop on April 22, 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Haines preceded her in death on July 3, 1980. Pearl was a member of the Kaysville 3rd LDS Ward. She held many church positions including Ward Relief Society President and an Ordinance Worker with her husband in the Ogden Temple. She was a member of the Holladay Lady Lions Club and had been active in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Pearl’s interests included crocheting, canning, collecting recipes, and ceramics. She had won ribbons at the Davis County Fair for her crocheting and ceramics. Surviving are one daughter and two sons, Bette (Charles) Richey, Ogden; Delbert (Janett) Bishop, Liberty; Richard (Nancy) Bishop, Roy; 26 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Pearl is also survived by one sister, Marie Despain, Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, two brothers, one daughter-in-law, Eileen Bishop, and one granddaughter, Sonia Bishop. Funeral services were at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, with Bishop Thomas Beard officiating. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery. Aleta Fern McKinley Probasco Scott Hastings A graduate of Weber High School, he attends WSU and served in the Pennsylvania Harrisburg LDS Mission. HUNTSVILLE — Aleta Fern McKinley Probasco, age 100, passed away at Mt. Ogden Nursing Center on March 5, 2001. Aleta Fern, daughter of William L. and Ollie E. Rennells McKinley, was born September 14, 1900 in Putnam County, six miles east of Unionville, Missouri, where she lived most of her life. She received her education at the Gray School in Putnam County, Missouri. She spent two years in Cherryville, New Mexico due to health problems. She confessed her faith in Christ as a young woman. She married Walter Probasco on December 30, 1933 in Milan, Missouri. They continued to make their home on the family farm with his three children until his death in 1968. She moved to Unionville, Missouri in 1969. In 1991, she moved to Huntsville, Utah to live with Harold and Opal Probasco, her stepson and step daughterin-law. She enjoyed her flowers and garden. She was an expert seamstress, an excellent cook and loved to crochet. She spent the last nine years in Mt. Ogden Nursing Center. She is survived by her stepchildren Juanita (Russ) Anderson of Rockford, Illinois; Lloyd (Chris) Probasco of El Paso, Texas; Harold (Opal) Probasco of Huntsville, Utah; nine step grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 18 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters, three brothers, Jeptha Summers of Unionville, Missouri, Faye Crawford of Springer, New Mexico, Delsie McKinley of Unionville, Missouri, Don McKinley, Clan McKinley, and Ray McKinley, who died in infancy; nephews, James McKinley, Gerald McKinley; nieces Alice Crawford Thompson, Nelladean Schumann, and Dolores McKinley Hudson; and one grandson, Tommy Probasco. Funeral services and interment were held Saturday, March 10, 2001 in Unionville, Missouri. Local arrangements were made by Myers Mortuary in Ogden. Florence Louise Wing LIBERTY — Florence Louise Wing, age 89, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at McKay-Dee Hospital of causes incident to age. She was born December 2, 1911 in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Fred A. and Louise Poydar Kreuzer. Florence married Charles Stanford Wing on September 17, 1936 in Reno, Nevada. The marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple, on November 24, 1973. She moved to Berlin, Massachusetts in 1919. In 1936 she moved to Hollywood, California; then moved to Burbank, California in 1940. She resided there until 1988 when she moved to Liberty, Utah. Florence helped her husband establish and operate a radio, television and electronic business for nearly 50 years in Hollywood, California. She loved horses and animals. Surviving are two daughters, Doris (Bill) Stanfill, Huntsville; Loise (Jerry) Thompson, Liberty; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one greatgreat-granddaughter. Also surviving are one brother, Fred Kreuzer, and one sister, Dorothy Rothwell, California. Preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Larry, Ronald; and one grandson, Michael. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 10, 2001 at the Liberty 1st Ward, Bishop Roger Bailey, officiating. Interment, Eden Mt. View Cemetery. Tu/! Gmpsfodf! Dbuipmjd!
