The event was held Saturday, October 21. Utah’s best food vendors were onsite, showcasing their latest and tastiest creations; Holleeberry with their almost better than homemade jam, Red Rock Ranch & Outfitters serving up the best Dutch oven cooking in the state, and many others. There were samples of holiday Wassail and other treats to tickle the palate, and fragrances to delight the senses. Rainbow’s resident ghost and a Jack the Ripper victim greet the guests. Eccles Dinosaur Park did it again—became transformed into the “Haunted Dinosaur Park.” Over 300 Jack-O-Lanterns lit the way to the dinosaur graveyard that was haunted by monsters, ghosts, and goblins. The dinosaur displays and sound effects of the park were very, very, scary! Around every corner something was lurking. A wicked witch wheeled her partner around, along with other frightening creatures and ghouls. There was hot chocolate and doughnuts from the Raptor Café to keep you warm. Nevertheless, a few chills—and fun was had by all. The walkways were lined with over 300 Jack-O-Lanterns carved in a variety of ways. A scary witch with her companion.
