A reception was held at the Eden Church House. Attending the bride as maid of honor was Laurel Peart. Eric Ball was the groomsman for the groom. Amy is a graduate of Weber High school and is employed at Stop N’ Shop. Benjamin graduated from Snow Canyon High School. He is attending Weber State University majoring in teaching chemistry. He served his mission in Germany. He is also employed at Stop N’ Shop. They honeymooned at Kenny Wright’s GetAway Lodge. The couple will reside in Ogden. Missionaries Sister Katie Dickson, daughter of Douglas J. and Tym Dickson of Liberty, has been called to serve in the Guam Micronesia Mission. Her farewell address was held at the Liberty 2nd Ward on April 16. Elder Brian Virgin, son of Richard and Jennifer Virgin of Huntsville has been called to serve in the New York Rochester Spanish-speaking Mission. His farewell address was held at the Huntsville Ward on April 16. Births Trent and Terra Rounkles of Ogden had a baby boy on March 28. Rogers-Cazier Adrianne Rogers and Matthew T. Cazier were united in marriage in the Bountiful LDS Temple on Thursday, April 20. The bride is the daughter of Blair and Janine Rogers of North Ogden. The parents of the bridegroom are Chuck and Janet Hoffman of Liberty and Ben Cazier of Phoenix, Arizona. A reception followed at the Ben Lomond Fourth Ward in North Ogden. Meredith Richardson attended the bride as maid of honor. Jake Cazier and Casey Wood attended the groom. Both graduated from Weber High School and both are now attending Weber State University. Matthew served his mission in the Chili Santiago North Mission. After honeymooning in Island Park, Idaho, the couple will reside in South Ogden. Returning Missionaries Elder Clinton Ray Walker, son of Bishop Ray S. Walker II and Sandy Walker of Huntsville has returned from serving in the Australian Brisbane Mission. His homecoming address was held at the Huntsville II Ward on March 12. Sister Kathryn Bushell, daughter of Randy and Ruth Ann Bushell of Eden has returned form serving in the Washington Seattle Mission. Her homecoming address was held at the Eden 2nd Ward on April 9. Elder Kerry W. Hogge, son of Kevin and Carolyn Hogge of Liberty has returned form serving in the Peru Lima East Mission. His homecoming address was held at the Liberty 1st Ward on April 16. Marilyn (Molly) Caple Armstrong Molly Armstrong, 51, died at home on the 11th of April, 2000, having lived well with metastatic breast cancer for over 3 years. Born Marilyn Frances Caple on the 13th of November, 1948, she was the 4th child and only daughter of Frances and John Caple in Toledo, Ohio. She was raised in the Toledo area, graduating from Maumee Valley Country Day School. She graduated from the University of Colorado in 1970 with a BA in Sociology. She worked at Youth Homes, Inc. in the California Bay Area in the early 1970’s. In 1977 she returned to Vail Colorado where she met her life mate, Wally Armstrong. They moved to Huntsville, Utah in 1979 and married in 1982. This union blessed them with one daughter, Elly Margaret Armstrong, born in 1986. Molly received her Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) at the University of Utah in 1984. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) she started a private counseling practice which was a creative and fulfilling part of her life. She started the local National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) Ogden Chapter in 1984. She was on the treatment team of the Child Abuse Prevention Center until her breast cancer diagnosis in 1996. Her hope was to offer these services in Ogden and she worked passionately toward that goal until the last of her life. She felt fortunate and grateful for her excellent care given by the treatment team of Dr. Regina Klein, Nancy, Mary Lynn, Ramona, Maria, Kirsten and Robyn. She loved them and they all shared laughter and life in spite of the devastation of the disease. Her family would also like to thank Monica, Susan, Rhonda and Marge and all the people of Utah’s Heritage Hospice. She is survived by her husband, Wally and daughter Elly, Huntsville; brothers, John (Anne) Caple, San Rafael, CA; Chuck (Jane) Caple, Elmira, MI; sister-in-law, Carol Caple Tarrier, Captiva, FL; mother-in-law, Margaret Armstrong, Salisbury, NC; numerous wonderful nieces and nephews and precious friends whom she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her brother, Alva B. Caple and her parents. Memorial Service was held Monday, April 17, 2000 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.
