Ogden Valley has always been Basketball country. As far back as when the early settlers came, the Valley boys have devised ways to make a basketball game. In March ADVENTURE TRAVEL PRESCHOOL LEARNING TIME We’ve had many questions as to why we changed our registration procedures over the last couple of years. Formerly, two registration sessions were held, one for spring and one for fall; that is no longer the case. New National AYSO policies have determined our registration process and we must comply. Under the new policy, we will be holding registration for all players May 13th and 20th for both FALL 2000 and SPRING 2001 soccer play. That means, if you intend only to play SPRING 2001 soccer, you must register in May 2000 to be guaranteed a spot on a team. Remember allstar tournament play in AYSO tournaments requires that each player on the tournament team have played at least 1/2 (that is either FALL or SPRING) of the previous soccer season. It’s time to start thinking about getting out those soccer cleats and shin guards for the spring-half of soccer season. I say spring-half because spring soccer is the second half of the full soccer season that started in the fall. Spring games will begin late March to early April—weather permitting. For those who played fall soccer, or for those of you who registered last May for spring soccer, you are guaranteed placement on a team, and your coach will be contacting you. For those who did not register for spring soccer last May, you may register for this spring season by contacting Sheila Lewis before March 1 at 745-2487. Because the new National AYSO policy places a limit on the number of players on a team, placement on a team will be contingent upon space available on existing teams and/or numbers of new players and availability of coaches to form new teams. *Call For Details* Kick Off for Soccer Registration to Begin Now Introducing Sunshine Generation Dance & Singing Classes “Quality & Learning You Can Depend On” A Trusted Name in Preschool & Childcare Serving Ogden Valley Families Since 1996 50 % OFF of Registration - Call for Details |
