Volunteers needed to help with holiday tradition The annual Holiday Electric Light Parade kicks off in Ogden Saturday, November 30, 2019. It all begins with the Santa Run at 4:30 p.m. then the parade at 5:30 p.m. We need a little over 100 volunteers to help make this magical night a great success. Everyone is welcome; however, children under 15 cannot volunteer, but can accompany an adult as a “helper.” Are you a local business, a family, a local organization? If you answered yes, please get your group together and register to help now! Here is what we need help with: • Volunteers to help keep parade spectators on the sidewalk and out of the street, or to walk with a float and also help keep spectators safe. • If you volunteer, please commit to showing up at 3:00 p.m. and staying until 6:30 p.m. Volunteers need to be able to stand for long periods of time, walk multiple city blocks, and be able to walk/stand in cold weather conditions. • Volunteers will check-in at 3:00 p.m. at the Ogden Amphitheater, 353 Historic 25th St., reflective vest and a flag will be provided. • You will take your post on the street or with a float between 3:30 and 4:00 p.m. – The Santa Run Starts at 4:30 p.m. – Parade starts at 5:30 p.m. sharp.
