He was born April 5, 2014, and weighed 9 lbs. He was also 21” long. Archer was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents Dr. and Mrs. Daniel and Lacey (Knudtson) Hendrickson of Chehalis, Washington. Siblings are brother Maack and sisters Sienna and Scarlett. Grandparents are Scott and Linda Knudtson of Liberty, Utah; and John and John Henricksen of Chehalis, Washington. Great-grandparents are Judith and Marvin (deceased) Knudtson of Eden, Utah; Robert Hunter of Knights Ferry, California; and Joseph and Mary Lou Allen of Ogden, Utah. He is also loved by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Obituaries Audrey Lynette Fuller Robertson Audrey Lynette Fuller Robertson, 82, loved by family and friends, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014. She was born February 28, 1932 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Otis Leland Fuller and Audrey Robertson Elaine Grow. She married Leon Bills Robertson on June 11, 1955, and they were sealed on June 11, 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple. Audrey was a graduate of the Dee Hospital School of Nursing and the University of Utah with a degree in Nursing and was known as the “Neighborhood Nurse.” She willingly cared for young and old, showing extra consideration for many who were in their final stages of life. Active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in many Edward J. Stazinski (Brother Mark) Huntsville – Edward J. Stazinski (Brother Mark), 95, passed away June 11, 2014 at St. Joseph Villa in Salt Lake City. He was born June 11, 1919 in Gary, Indiana to Marko and Mary Stazinski. Brother Mark entered our Monastery in November of 1955. He had served our country for six years in the U. S. Navy during World War II. As a member of a torpedo squadron in Naval Air, Brother Mark could recount his share of dangerous wartime experiences. After his years of formation in monastic life, Brother Mark was assigned to help in the formation of beginners who came to our positions during her lifetime. She served with Leon in the Australia Melbourne Mission, in the Translation Department; and in the Jordan River Temple. Audrey is survived by her husband, Leon B. Robertson, her daughter Lori (Boyd) Wenerstrom, her son Michael L. (Nicole) Robertson, seven grandchildren, and ten greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Sharon (Rich) Wallerstein and her sister-in-law Fran Fuller. She was preceded in death by her brother Otis Kay Fuller, all of whom she dearly loved. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the River Ridge 7th Ward, 10124 S. 1300 W., South Jordan, Utah. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Estates. Online condolences may be shared at <www. jenkins-soffe.com> Obituaries Bette Joy Brown Fuller March 6, 1930 ~ June 2, 2014 Bette Fuller passed away peacefully on June 2, 2014. She was born March 6, 1930 in Pocatello, Idaho, the middle daughter of Henry Newell and Cecil Curtis Brown. She Bette Fuller moved to Ogden, Utah when she was about 12 years old, attended Ogden schools, and graduated from Ogden High School in 1948. Bette met her husband of 60 years, Mack Fuller, while hitchhiking home from Salt Lake with her girlfriends. They were picked up by a couple of sailors who had just been discharged from the Navy. One of those sailors, Mack, became the love of her life, and they were married June 25, 1948 in Eden, Utah. Mack died in 2008, and Bette missed him dearly. Bette and Mack had two children, Vicki (Dennis) Jennings and Curtis (Holly) Fuller, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Throughout her life, Bette was active in many social and civic organizations—Xi Omicron chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, the Ogden Elks, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, and Daughters of the American Revolution. Her Melvin S. Whiteley Melvin S. Whiteley of Banning, California, passed away May 31, 2014 at Riverside Community Hospital. He was born September 28, 1930 in Liberty, Utah, the fourth Melvin Whiteley of five children born to John S. and Violet Smith Whiteley. His brothers and sister are Lawrence (deceased), Harold (deceased), Cecile (deceased), and Donald (LaRae) of Kaysville, Utah. He married Barbara Brown in 1948; they later divorced. There were three children Community. He was appreciated for his skills as a carpenter. His assignment to renovate the Abbotpresident’s room was done in particularly good taste. Failing health required constant care at St. Joseph Villa. Our Community members visited him often, maintaining our close relationship with him. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 14 at the Abbey of the Holy Trinity Monastery in Huntsville. Interment in the Monastery Cemetery. Helen Kathryn Rusch Funeral arrangements entrusted to Myers June 13, 1919 ~ May 25, 2014 Ogden Mortuary. Condolences may be sent to the family at On Sunday morning, May 25, 2014, Helen <www.myers-mortuary.com> Kathryn Rusch, 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep. Helen was born to Edward and Ellen Burks on June 13, 1919 in a small home on the banks of the Missouri River near Saline City, Missouri. She was the youngest of six children and was forever grateful to her four brothers and sister who raised her when their parents died early in their youth. While attending business school in Nebraska, her brother Curt introduced her to Lawrence Rusch, whom she ultimately married in Council Bluffs, Iowa on September 17, 1932. Lawrence was employed by the U.S. Government which took them to San Diego, California, Tucson, Arizona, and finally, in 1943, to Ogden, Utah. After Lawrence’s death in 1956, Helen did an outstanding job in facing up to the task of raising three young children. She was a good cook and enjoyed canning every fall. In her earlier years, she did a lot of sewing, making many of her children’s clothes and even made doll clothes with great detail. Mom liked to stay busy. Along with working hard to raise three children, she served as a volunteer at St. Benedict’s Hospital, now Ogden Regional, was a member of the Eastern Star, and was active in Job’s Daughter’s. She found great joy in helping others and loved children of all ages. Her greatest joy in life was taking care of them, especially her own grandchildren. She preferred outside work over career spanned 30 years with IRS, retiring in 1990. Throughout her life, she bowled, golfed, boated, and traveled with family and many wonderful friends. Bette and Mack were able to travel the world, including trips to Hawaii, the Caribbean, China, and Australia. They spent countless weekends at Flaming Gorge where Bette terrorized the trout with her infamous “Big Bertha” trolling rod and reel. In her later life, Bette became interested in her family’s genealogy, and collected and compiled volumes of family history. She lived a wonderful life! Bette is survived by all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her younger sister Shirley Line. She was preceded in death by her older sister Cecelia Woodman. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery in North Ogden. Melvin attended Liberty Elementary, Huntsville Junior High, and graduated in the class of ‘48 from Weber High School. He was in the dairy business his entire working years. The last twenty years of his career he managed three different milk plants in Asia, retiring in 1986. His hobbies included, primarily, traveling and golf. Helen is survived by her three children, David, Dennis, and Linda Rusch, all of Ogden; four grandchildren, Jason Rusch, Shannon Rusch, Daniel Rusch, and Lindsay Rusch Van Breer; and two great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Olivia Rusch. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ellen Burks; husband Lawrence Rusch; brothers Luther Russell, Leo, and Curtis Burks; and sister Tracy Burks. A private family Memorial service was held June 10, 2014 at the Willow Glen Health and Rehabilitation Center, 775 N. 200 E., Brigham City. The family extends their gratitude to Willow Glen Health and Rehabilitation and Community Nursing Service Hospice of Brigham City for their care and devotion during the last years of mom’s life.
