The show will run through the end of November. Wildlife and bird images, along with various landscapes will be included in the show with several shots taken in Ogden Valley. Jim Huddle’s lifelong interest in nature and wildlife has been a natural fit with his passion for photography. The self-taught photographer has been capturing images of nature’s beauty for over 20 years. He states that he loves the opportunity to share this beauty with others. Originally from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, he first experienced the wonders of Utah’s natural beauty when the U.S. Army stationed him in Ogden in the late 1980s. Jim bought his first camera in downtown Ogden, and started canvassing the Wasatch Mountains regularly for images. In 1993 he moved away but always carried an appreciation of northern Utah’s natural beauty with him no matter where the Army moved him. In 2005 he retired from the military and quickly returned with his family to the area with a deep desire to capture and share the beauty of this western state. Since returning, Jim has spent countless hours photographing as much of the area as he could. presented by the state’s various seasons and diverse environments, and that he is constantly seeking to improve both his craft and his knowledge of local animal behavior.
