Lopez announce the first day of their new life together, and were married May 17, 2008 at the Castle in the Wyoming State Park near Guernsey, Wyoming. A feaststyle reception followed immediately, held in their honor at the Faith Baptist log church in Guernsey. Wedding music was provided by Steven Castle, guitar solo; and the original and classic rock band “Paradox” was featured at the reception. The bride is a performing and professional violinist/fiddler from Eden, with career ties to Nashville, Tennessee. The groom is a professional Journeyman electrician. He currently works for the Bureau of Reclamation at the Flaming Gorge Dam, in Dutch John, Utah, and has the recent appointment as Safety Officer. Theresa also works with the Square Foot Gardening Foundation, and is Chairman of the Hero GardenBox Gift Program. A second celebration, an open house, will be held for the new duo at the home of Stig and Susan Hansen in Nordic Valley, Eden on Friday, May 30, 2008 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Music provided by String Zing! string ensemble played by Joy Clem, Jenny Waldrip, Marie Ogden, Mitch Jenkins, and, also, singer/ songwriter Tim Daniels. The happy couple will have two homes and reside in both Eden, and in Dutch John, Utah. Obituaries Larry Ray Walker Larry Ray Walker, 72, died at his home April 23, 2008. He was born in Layton, Utah, August 18, 1935, and is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He attendLarry Walker ed Davis County Schools, and then joined the U.S. Marine Corp and was based in Florida and Hawaii. He married Jean Parker in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1952, and they have lived in Hawaii, Florida, California; and Layton, Kaysville, Bountiful, Eden, and South Ogden, Utah. After his discharge from the Marine Corp, he accomplished his goal to get his commercial pilot’s license and flying was his passion. His flying career included adventures such as landing on frozen lakes in Alaska, and 15 years with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management bombing fires. Walker; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law J.R. and Barbara Walker; and sister and brother-in-law Bonnie and Paul Perkins. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Charles (Toe) Ray and Eva Bernice Bott Walker. Funeral services were held April 28, 2008 at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N.
