Anniversaries M. Neal Sniggs Jenna and Logan Christensen Fuller – Christensen Clair and Jackie Shaw Clair & Jackie Shaw Clair and Jackie Shaw are celebrating 50 years together this month. Clair grew up in Liberty and Jackie in Huntsville. They met at a Christmas dance in the old red church in Liberty. They were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 5, 1957. Together they have five children: Julie (Greg) Duke, Mitch (Heidi) Shaw, Becky Lincoln, Kelly (Mareena) Shaw, and Stephanie Leo. Their children have blessed them with 14 wonderful grandchildren. Clair and Jackie still reside here in Liberty and enjoy spending time with their family. Congratulations! We love you. Lenora Lemon M. Neal Sniggs Jenna Fuller and Logan Christensen were united in marriage on June 7, 2007 in the Ogden LDS Temple with a reception held later that evening at the Edgewood Reception Center in Ogden. The bride is the daughter of Jason and Christine Fuller of Eden. The bridegroom is the son of Marc and Diane Hall of North Ogden, and Troy and Misty Christensen of Helena, Montana. The bride graduated from Weber High School and LDS Seminary, and recently completed the Dental Assisting program from the Ogden ATC. She is currently employed at Iverson Dental in Eden. The bridegroom graduated from Helena High and is employed at Marietti Electric. He is currently enrolled in an apprenticeship program at the Ogden ATC, working toward his journeyman license. The new couple will reside in North Ogden after their honeymoon to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. M. Neal Sniggs of Nordic Valley celebrated his 80th birthday on June 2. Family and friends attended an open house in his honor to share cake and ice cream with him at Romrell Park in Ogden. Sniggs was born in Paonia, Colorado on May 26, 1927 to Melvin N. Sniggs and Marie Tinsley. He had one sister, Joyce Cunnington, who is now deceased. He lived on a small farm in Colorado until his family moved to Utah when he was in high school. He married Marie Conley in 1946. Their children and their spouses are Kathi Jo and Parry Smith, Steve and Jody Sniggs, and Nan Downing. They were later divorced. He has 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He then married Lois White in 1964, and they shared 41 years together before she died in 2005. He began his career at Ed and Neal’s Café. He and his wife purchased the Gray Cliff Lodge in 1965, where they made many business acquaintances and friends. He has spent the winter months in Apache Junction for more than 30 years. He enjoys helping all of his neighbors with home repairs and the annual openyard sale by making hundreds of cookies to sell. He has enjoyed his associations in the Masonic family by being a member of the Mason, Eastern Star, York Rite, and the Shriners for many years. His hobbies include making wine, gardening, golfing, and traveling. Lenora H. Lemon was honored by her children for her 80 th birthday with a social on Saturday, June 2 in Liberty. She was born on June 2, 1927 to Earl and Mabel Lenora Lemon Harrop in Willard. She has one sister and three brothers. She has lived all her life in Willard and graduated from Box Elder High School. She married Lowell Lemon on August 12, 1948 in the Logan LDS Temple. She and her husband have been in the farming and dairy business for more than 60 years. They enjoy spending their summers back on their Willard farm. As a member of the LDS Church she has served in many positions. Her interests include family, grandchildren, reading, baking, handwork, and traveling. Her children and their spouses are Elizabeth and Eddy Kulbacki, Clinton; Richard and Mary Lemon, Chandler,Arizona; JoAnn and Richard Day, Willard; Kent and Cathy Lemon, Auburn, Washington; Winston and Annette Sales, Liberty; Helen Marie Lemon (deceased); and Marilyn Mike, Fruitland, New Mexico. She has 22 grandchildren and 25 greatgrandchildren. Lowell Lemon Lowell Lemon was honored for his 85th birthday with a social on Saturday, June 2 by his children in Liberty. He was born on May 5, 1922, to Orvin and Edith Lemon, in Corrine, UT. He had two sisters and three other brothers.
