They were married February 6, 1947 at Troy, Kansas. The event will be commemorated at an open house held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on February 10, 2007 at 6813 E. Ist Street in Huntsville, Utah. Harold was born February 25, 1925 in Putnam County Missouri, a son of Walter and Etta Probasco. He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII in the Pacific. He moved to Utah in 1956 and retired from the Union Pacific Railroad. Harold enjoys restoring gasoline engines and tractors, hosting an annual engine show at his home in Huntsville. Opal was born November 13, 1927 in tain County Missouri, the daughter of Stanley and Josie Davis. She also moved to Utah in 1956. She is a retired U.S. Postmaster where she worked at the Huntsville post office for many years. She enjoys painting, quilting, gardening, canning, and walkin heir children and their spouses are Dennis (Kathy) Probasco, Harrisville; Gary (Julie) Probasco, Huntsville; Cathy Probasco, Ogden; u (Roxanne) Probasco, South Weber; Judi (Terry) Ellis, Menifee, CA; Wanda (John) Hammersmark, New Salem, ND; and Kirk (LaQuitta) Probasco, Clearfield. have 24 grandchildren, 32 greatgrandchildren, and | great-great grandchild. They reside in Huntsville. were mara ceremoconstructhe Valley Obituaries Blair R. Shaw Blair R. Shaw, 86, died Thursday, December 28, 2006 at McKay-Dee Hospital of causes incident to age. He was born June 27, 1920 in Liberty, Utah, a son of John Ariel and Sophie Lillias Rhodes Shaw. On December 31, 1943, Blair married Lila Walton in Evanston, Wyoming. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 29, 1944. He was raised and educated in Liberty where he lived most of his life. He moved to Roy 10 years ago. Blair was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. (Roger) Pettingill, San Jose, California; Donna A. (Jeff) Linford, North Ogden; 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and one sister, Marriner Shaw, Roy; Luleen Stewart, Mesquite, Nevada. Blair was preceded in death by hispar ents, sister Maxine Rasmussen, and thre: brothers Russell, Reed, and Leslie. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 2 at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., with Bishop Norman Erekson officiating. Interment, Liberty Cemetery. Flinders Zella Mitchell Flinders, 93, passed away Friday, January 5, 2007 at the Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield. She was born July 11, 3 in Clinton to Joseph Clements rience and Edith Sarah Burnett. She w e ninth of 12 children. Zella was raised in Clinton on the family farm. She attended Davis High School lived in Clearfield, Clinton, and Eden, Utah; Adrian, Zella married Clarence Hartland Flinders on October 7, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away August 12. 1994, Zella worked 4 as a homemaker, and a custodian Zella Flinders and cook for the Davis School District. Her hobbies included gardening, quilting, cooking, canning, and embroidery. She has sel in many callings in the LDS Church. Zella is survived by eight sons and three daughters: Effie and Deloy Ottley, Clarence and Sherry Flinders, Leon and Brenda Flinders, George Flinders, Ray and Sherry Flinders, Thelma and Bill Parkin, Reed and Sharon Flinders, Milt and Adele Flinders, Dale Flinders, Carl and Debbie Flinders, Ann and Lenny Williams, and one brother LeRoy Mitchell. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren and several great and greatgreat-grandchildren. s preceded in death by her parnts, five sisters and five brothers, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.
