Wasatch Humane was also willing to clean up the filth for you. You declined the offer. Why do you refuse to allow other people to help the sheep? As Americans, we don’t want big government because we consider ourselves capable of making sound and just decisions. HB 61, which would create stricter penalties for animal abuse, is before the Utah legislature now. Your case is a very good reason why this stiffer law should be put in place. Current livestock laws are what they are and the sheep are very clearly yours to do with as you wish. However, you should know that your conduct and practices bring great discredit upon yourselfand the local community. You have the opportunity to be a good citizen and practice sound animal husbandry. Let me invite you to rekindle your interest in kindness and common sense. Huntsville residents, Leslie Nixon Harvey Dalton Jackie Sitzmann Steve Jeffs Glen Thompson James L. He serves because he loves the community; he wants to make a difference in the quality of life we enjoy, and because of his deep, yet humble, sense of civic duty. Huntsville has seen many improvements and achievements over the last twelve years of Mayor McKay’s tenure. Even though McKay has been the driving force behind so much of this, he has always given credit to the hard-working citizens and members of the town council. a town meetings one hears from the mayor a lotof “our,” “us,” and “we.” I have yet to hear the e gloat over or highlight any of “his” accomplishments. Is the man perfect? Of course not; he, and every mayor Huntsville Town has ever had, has made his share of misjudgments. I have heard the mayor say himself; “You are not going to make all the people happy all of the time.” Over the years, Mayor McKay has developed a wealth of contacts, and gained a great amount of experience and wisdom that has paid off for the town in big dividends. When you stop and consider the substantial amount of time Mayor McKay contributes to the Town each week with no remuneration, you will begin to appreciate just how great a deal Huntsville has—the best on the planet. McKay, I believe I speak for many, many people in our town when I say, “We need you; thank you to you, and your family, for doing a great job!” Christopher Stevenson, Huntsville - Fine Properties at Wolf Creek - Where the Resort Lifestyle is literally out your back door. — RESORT the attorney’s office for their consideration.
