Parents of the bridegroom are Farrrell and Pat Woods of Eden. Both are graduates of Weber High School. She graduated from Weber State University with a degree in health promotion. She served in the Bolivia Cochabamba LDS Mission. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a degree in human factors engineering. He is currently a captain in the U.S. Air Force, piloting the KC-10 stationed at McGuire Air Force Base. The new couple will live in New Jersey after their honeymoon in the Bahamas. Born November 25, 1931 in Bassett, Arkansan to William Vernon and Robbie Beaver Smith, he attended schools in Huntsville and graduated from Weber High School. He was in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked for Z.P. Smith Construction for 30 years and retired from North Ogden City in 1993 as an inspector. He is presently employed by the Barn Golf Course. He enjoys golfing and bowling. He has also held many positions in the LDS Church. She was born in Agawan, Teton County, Montana to Joseph F. and Erda Mae Gunter Lightfoot on November 19, 1930. Her family moved to Ogden where she attended school, graduating from Ogden High School and Weber College.
