Show Volume XIII THE Issue I OGDEN VALLEY NEWS Page 5 October 15, 2005 Ogden Valley Branch Library Presents Halloween Party The Ogden Valley Branch Library will be wrapping up the spine-tingling month of October with its traditional Halloween Party on October 26 at 6:30 p.m. Patrons of all ages are invited show off their most creepy, funny, silly, and downright scary costumes! e evening will kick off with hair-raising stories told in the dark, and include the opular Monster Mash where, with fast feet and a little luck, patrons can leave with a few extra goodies in their bag. This year’s pro- gram will also include a fantastic new event. Bring your best carved pumpkin to enter in the Jack-O-Lantern contest. The evening promises to be full of tasty treats, good times, and lots of spooky fun. This popular and ever growing event hopes to bring in patrons from all over the Valley and beyond to experience, not just a wonderful program, but also all of the superb resources the library has to offer. Diana Edvalson Art Exhibit @ Your Library The Ogden Valley Branch Library is pleased to present a new art exhibit featuring the paintings of Diana Edvalson. The works of this talented artist will be on display in the Lorna Wattis Swanson Gallery October 28 through November 2 | far aily T where family 10-12 grades Residents of all ages are invited to show off their most goofy, funny, silly, and downright scary costumes! All pumpkins must be pre-carved and brought to The Red Moose Lodge by 8:00 p.m. the night before on Wednesday, October 26. The evening event will also honor Kathy Allen who has given so much to the community over the past several years. Carnival games, spook alley, bake sale, silent auction, and costume and carved pumpkin contests will all add up to a whole lot of spooky fun! Plan on attending for a whole lot of Halloween fun. Both girls stated that they had excellent instruction in preparing for the competition.
