Jelderda in "Ratterdati, Holland. She married Jacob VanBeekum on May 5, 1943 in Rotterdam, Holland. After World War II, they immigrated to America in 1948 and settled in Salt Lake City. Their wedding vows were solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They became U.S. citizens in April 1950. They then moved to Huntsville, where they raised their five boys.
