Show wm “DHE OGDEN VALLEY NEWS October 1, 2005 Box St. Florence Catholic Church to Host Ben efit Dinner Ogden Valley Library to Host Halloween Party The Ogden Valley Branch Library will be wrapping up the spine-tingling month of October with its traditional Halloween Party on October 27 at 6:30 p.m. Patrons of all ages are invited show off their most creepy, funny, silly, and downright scary costumes! “This annual program is the event of the year! Our staff looks forward to this fun and exciting program that brings in patrons by the hundreds. We anticipate that everyone will leave with a smile on their face, and a bag full of prizes and treats. The best part of the program is seeing the excited little smiling faces,” says Assistant Branch Manager Faith Zschiesche. The evening will kick off with hair-raising stories told in the dark, and include the popular Monster Mash where, with fast feet and a little luck, patrons can leave with a few extra goodies in their bag. This year’s program will also include a fantastic new event. Bring your best carved pumpkin to enter in the Jack-O-Lantern contest. The evening promises to be full of tasty treats, good times, and lots of spooky fun. Mass will be at 6:30 p-m. with dinner following at 7:00 p.m. Father Cummins has graciously offered to host the evening. There will be a movie playing for the children. Reservations must be made by Wednesday, September 28 Valley Soccer Players Bring Home Championship Title Steven Benjamin, son of Steve and Elizabeth Benjamin of Eden; and Loudon Fruth, son of Bill and Jean Fruth of Huntsville lead the St. Joseph’s Jayhawks soccer team to victory in the Pocatello Tournament held in September of this year. The team won an impressive 5 of 5 straight games to capture the Championship title.
