During his life he resided in Ogden, Riverdale, Las Vegas, and Hooper. On June 12, 1964, Mike married Mary Elaine Strong in the Salt Lake City LDS emple. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he contributed greatly to the youth and scouting programs. was a good provider owning his own construction business. ike enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, snowmobiling, and four-whe active in recreational sports when he was younger.
