He was a teacher to many. He graduated from Viewmont High School, received a bachelors degree and later a masters degree from Weber State University. He has taught school for 10 years and has influenced the lives of many young people. He taught special education and later drama at Centerville Jr High School, and West Point Jr High. Erik loved acting and stole the show in many productions at Rogers Memorial and Off Broadway. Founder of Mission Improvible, member of the Cameleons with Jim Christian. His latest part as an old man at Desert Star Theater was a delight. Erik was extremely good at doing what he did best and that was to make people laugh. Erik was married in the Salt Lake Temple to JanaLee Gines on August, 28th 1993. The love of his life was his three sons: Joshua 7, Jaren 5, and Lucas 1. His boys were his world. rik was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a teacher in the Sunday school and elders quorum and served a mission in Boise Idaho. Erik is survived by his sons, his parents of Centerville, two sisters Jill (Mike) Williams, and Jessica (Mark) London, and by three brothers Colten (Kathy) Johansen, Jed (Sara) Johansen, Nate (Gayla) Johansen. He was preceded in death by his Grandma and Grandpa Johansen, oo Jesse Layton and a niece Berklee Johan Erik autiieed much in his life and was the survivor of 4 kidney transplants. The latest from his brother Jed on March 25th of this year. His funeral was held Wednesday the November 24 Ricks Creek Chapel, Centerville. Interment, Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Utah. A special thanks to all the people who have acted with Erik, been such a part of his life, and to the students that he taught. He loved You. Erik you will be missed by so many. She was born March 9, 1929 in Independence, Missouri to William Beach and Esther Pickus. She was reared in Minnesota and attended Santa Ana College in Santa Ana, California. Arlyne was a member of the Elim tatthetn Church. She was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, during the Korean Conflict. Arlyne married Charles Calloway on November 16, 1956 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is survived by her two sons; Charles, Jr. (Tricia) and Walter R; a brother, Charles Raymond Beach; and 10 grandchildren.
