Rrista Mams took the sixth place at the Carbon rodeo. Roll Leifsnn earned more points in the hureliack event by placinp filth m Carbon. Iaieev Potter was crow ned queen at the Carbon Rodeo contest. Many other of our dub contestants participated in these past weekends and did very well. Good luck throughout the season. Our South Summit High School Rodeo in coming up on May 25 and The lodco team traveled lolooelc and Grantwillc on April 11 and 14 to compete Eindi Bishop look first place in huri els and poles in Tooele. Maidee Jones was lirst Attendant in the Tooele queen contest. I.indzi also did well in f irantsville. She ended up w ith a second place in poles. Carls hi and l.mery were the location fin the next luph school rodeo on April 20 and 21. I.indzi stole the fust place position in poles in Emery and seventh place in barrels. She ended up with a fourth place in bar Girls' softball won their first game against Rowland hall on April 24 with a score of eight to five. On tlie 25th. they lost to Juan Diego, and on the 27th. they won North Summit and now have a makeup game against Rowland Mull tm May 2. The golf team played on Tuesday. April 24, and lost hy only one stroke Then on against Grantsville. Wednesday, the 25th. they played uguinst Evanston and lost hy four strokes. Then to add a plus to the busy schedule, the golf team played Juan Diego and won by two strokes in sudden death. Golf Coach Gary Crandall said. Chris Wilson did a three hole playoff and still tied then won sudden death." Boy's baseball lost to North Summti with a score of three to one on Wednesday, the 25th of April. Coach Cody $owen comments. Travis Miller played an excellent game and the learn played very well but didn't come up with enough hits at crucial times."
