With the construction of a new garage facility on main street and the purchase of the nearby old Kamas Hardware building, there are now a total of 6 buildings with about 1 8,000 square feet of floor space. There are additional buildings in Woodland, Oakley, Pine Mountain, and Lewis Peak, which brings the total footage to 2 ,600. Allwest currentjy employees 60 people in Summit County, completing a variety of functions. The operations group handles installation, maintenance, repair, engineering, and construction on telephone, cable tv, and internet systems. The financial group takes care of all the business office support functions for these systems, including customer service, payables, receivables, payroll, accounting, purchasing, and inventory. The call center group staffs a 24x7 call center for 1 processing customer service and trouble calls as well as processing catalog and 800 orders. The marketing group handles sales and support for all the services. The information systems group provides the computer networks and support functions for the previousjy mentioned groups.
