It was a Virsity double header so the Braves were certain they would take a victory in at least one of the games, but that was not the case. With a few raindrops in between, the Lady Braves lost the first game 12 to 1. In the second game, during the first inning the Braves scored 2 runs and the Bulldogs scored 4. Soon after the first inning was over they had to stop the game for about an hour due to a severe hail storm. After the storm, they were unable to play on the saturated field so they moved to a grass covered in field. They proceeded with the game and several good plays were made. A triple was hit by Julie llewson to increase the Lady Braves chances. The Lady Braves allowed the Bulldogs to score 3 runs in the last inning, giving them a wider lead. The final score was 11 to 18 in favor of the Bulldogs. It was pretty close the whole game, and we are capable of beating them next time. N5.
