Against Millard, May 3. Millard was hitting all the rune so they could defeat North Summit. Nortll Summit lost both . Middle School Holds an Art Contest Eagles Pluck The Braves games. The first half Millard was at 14 runs and North Summit had 1 runs. The second hal of the game North Summit did nonhave any runs and Millard was 15 mins ahead. North Summit, I know you can win next time! I The North Summit Lady Braves took a long bus ride to Millard on Saturday, the 3rd of May, to play the Millard Lady Eagles in a double header. The Braves hit well off of Millard's pitcher, but they had too many errors to even out the scores. In thesecond game the Lady Braves played great. They cut down on their errors and.hit well too. The game went seven innings. North Summit ended up losing with a score of 10 to 3. Good luck to the Lady Braves in their last week of games. Jared Scoggan, Genny Moon, Danielle McQueen. For some it turned out to be a great accomplishment to be chosen, and the others enjoyed working with the other party and having a good time. Taking charge and making sure North Summit is in order as president will be Curtis Pace. Christian Peck's responsibility as vice president will be preparing and getting all the assemblies together. Track Results The North Summit Boys and Girls track team members have been very busy these past few weeks trying to qualify for the state meet that will be held at BYU on May 16 and 17. The new studentbody officers will be sworn in at the Awards Assembly on May 13. We would like to congratulate this new Student Council for the 1997-199- 8 Spirit Week Held This week was Spirit Week for the North Summit Middle School. Every day the school's student council judged who they thought looked the most spirited. Every day we had to dress a different way if you wanted to win. Monday was Hat Day. We all got to wear hats. The people who wore the most creative hats Day. Tuesday was Inside-OYou could wear your clothes inside out Most people chose not to do this one. Wednesday was Team Day. You were supposed to wear clothes of your favorite teams. Some people went all out painting there face and doing all sorts of goofy stuff like that. Thursday was Oldies Day, we are supposed to dress up like a hippy. Friday was Cougar Day. People dressed up in school colors, which are blue and silver. The people that were the most spirited all week are getting free passes to Lagoon. The school is going on May 21.
