He was surrounded by the people who loved him most, his family. Jim (Shish) was born in Bountiful to Linda Blonquist Garfield and Laurel Kent Garfield on Nov. 22, 1973. Lived hia entire life in Coalville. Graduated from North Summit High School where he was very active in sports. His high school football team was the state champs for three years in a row. Named an football player his junior and senior years. Was also on North Summit's State Championship basketball team his senior year and was named in track for three years in a row. Was an outstanding athlete who joved sports. Graduated from Snow College in June 1994 and he also earned an Associate degree in sci- ence from Weber State University. He died July 22, 1987, she later married Morrell Matthews Aug. 26, 1989, and lived in Scipte. He passed away Jan. 15, 1993. Loved by everyone who knew her, especially her nieces and nephews. Loved the fishing, hunting, and traveling. Member of the LDS Church. Survived by five brothers: Owen Wilde (Alice), Carl Wilde (June), Ren Wilde (Marie), Coalville; Veil Wilde (Dawn), Walden Wilde (Verna), Salt Lake Gty. Had a gift and love for working with animals and the land, his pursuit of excellence challenged him to achieve the best quality possible in all he did.
