Show Friday, Dacambar 17, 1993 amas Paftey Soii Conservation Announces Contest Winners Tha Summit County Boo 3A Messiah Presented at Tlhe CoaCviCCe Stable Center The Coalville Utah Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints presented the -- Messiah on Dec. 12 at the Coalville Stake Center to a large audience that overflowed into the cultural hall. Kathleen Vender Linden was the director as well as the alto soloist. Other soloists were DeAnn Bowen, Robin Judd, Grant Piercy, and Ari Hunsaker. The orchestra, which included violins, viola, cello, flutes, oboe, clarinet, trumpets, scribing the life of Christ. The musical rendition has some very difficult pieces which were handled very well with the Hallelujah Chorus as one of the most familiar and done beautifully with much feeling and gusto by the choir and orchestra. Many comments were made of the presentation as the audience visited in the foyer and everyone felt it was a worthwhile evening and certainly fitting as we are celebrating trom- the Christmas season. bones, french horns, piano, and organ, were made up of local talent, some still in school.
