Games were played in the balcony for those who preferred not to swim. Yummy treats of rolls, ham, turkey, and roast beef, plus a relish tray was enjoyed by everyone. A special surprise for Gladys Lamb Friday was a birthday card from President Bush and Barbara. Gladys is a young 83 years. On Sunday, her daughters, Yvonne and Lee Overturff, and Kay and Larry Franson, took her out for dinner at Evanston. Kamas Korners The Girl Scouts will be selling oranges for the Christmas season as a fundraiser. Hoyt's Stmt will be sponsoring this event. Orders will be taken over the phone by your local Girl Scout or their leaders. The Leavitt, Harris, and Bonita Atkinson families went to St. George for die High School Rodeo. At the Dixie Rodeo on Friday, Stacie and Barry Atkinson placed eighth in the Team Roping. At the Enterprise Rodeo on Saturday, Stacie Leavitt placed fourth in Goat. Tying; Barry Atkinson placed fourth in Calf Roping, and Jeremy Harris and Jason Leavitt placed ninth in Team Roping. Elaine and Frank Atkinson had eighteen family present for dinner at their home. It was too noisy even to watch the football games. Eleanor Pat Dugdale went to her nephew's, Oliver and Chris Dugdale, for a visit and dinner. There were quite a few present along with daughter, Marty and family, from Colorado. Verl, Oliver's mother, was also present. Irma Prescott's family had a lovely dinner at the Kamas Town Park building with twenty-fiv- e present from Wyoming, Salt Lake, Park City, West Jordan, and Kamas. They played Bingo and father games and drew, numbers for dance. Everyone brought part of the dinner which was almost like with plenty to eat and take home. Some family traveled long distances. The boys played basketball and others visited. Edna Atkinson's Marie Andrew Shaffer, was blessed in the Kamas II Ward on Sunday. There were about fifty to sixty family to eat afterwards.
