Samantha Emery received her Gospel in Action award. Her parents are John and Jeanie Emery. Landon Judd, son of Rick and LuGene Judd, was baptized and confirmed by his father. Trisha Judd was baptized and confirmed by her father. Parents are Boyce and Ella Mae. Tesla Saberina Keetch was the name given to the beautiful little daughter of Linda Keetch. She was blessed by her uncle Ray Rees. The infant son of Larry and Leslie Fox Jones was blessed and given the name' of Whitney Charles. He was blessed by his fa- ther. Former Henefer resident, Mable Winters, passed away Aug. 1. Funeral services were held in Cedar City with graveside services and burial in the Henefer Cemetery. Linda Staley and her two children, Laura and Dee, escaped serious injury when they were involved in a car accident in Ogden. Their car was Teresa W. Pace flew to Utah from her home in Sun Prairie, Wise, to attend her grandmother's Brian and Aleech Nichols, of Logan, had their infant daughter blessed by her grandfather, Kent Nichols, at the Henefer Second funeral. Ward. The reception for Lori Richins and Jeffery Peterson was held at Henefer. It wasbeaudfully decorated in pinks and blues. The Ladies County Softball Tournament was held this past weekend at die Coalville City Park. Grandfather Pat Ovard had the honor of blessing his little granddaughter, Whitney Marie Ovard. Whitney's parents are Errick and 12 teams started Creager, from Salt Lake City. In the afternoon, Laura's sister-in-laie Lucile Pappas, and her niece, Thors ness, from Salt Lake, came and the family gathered at Riverside Park in Morgan for a reunion and barbecue. Attending were Don and Vickie Oliver, Greg and Elsie Oliver, Phyllis Brown, Becky and Bob Humes, Mona Humes, Tom and Jill Oliver, Mike and Donna Oliver, and all their children, Dawnette Giles and two children. There were 33 people present Sunday, Owen's daughter, Leone and Bob Creager, of Ogden, visited. Also Wayne and Marcia Owen, from Clearfield. The families of George and Lavinia Bullock Beard held their family reunion at Glendale on the Weber River, four miles above Oakley. There were 87 present, coming from all over Utah and Wyoming. They spent the day visiting and playing games and enjoying dinner together. Norma and Glen Thomas and Rhea and Albert Stacey were over the reunion this son, Marvin Pace, and family. The Sluggers after playing seven long hard games placed third. This team is coached by Barbara Pace. There were many close games in the sweltering heat Lots of fun was had. Grace Pace and her granddaughter, Shalena Pace, flew to Wisconsin to spend a few weeks with her Re-sal- Michelle Bristow Ovard. Stefanie Bejomasen and family were guests at the home of Norman and Jeanine Crittenden. Teresa Crittenden is reported doing real good following her illness and surgery. Her vision is a little blurry yet Best wishes are being sent to Susan Haws and Dale Richins. Visitors at the home of Laura and Owen Roberts, in Henefer, last week were Laura's daughter, Becky husband. Bob, Amy, Adam, and friend, Brian, from Colorado Springs. Also, Bob's mother, Mona Humes, from Muncie, IN. Wednesday morning, Becky and Mona went with Owen and Laura to Senior Citizens, where the band practiced to go to Evanston nursing home on Aug. 4. Becky joined in singing one number with Grant Geary and Laura. They were joined for lunch by Owen's sister, Morian Humes, Merilee Brooks, Melanee McQueen, w, year. The Seelos family reunion was held Aug. 4-- 3 at the Coalville City Park. 164 attended coming from California, Denver, Idaho, and all over Utah. They enjoyed visiting, games and small rodeo with sheep riding, where some of the men and fathers joined in with the children. They also played ball and had their family store where members of die fiunily had made and donated articles to be raffled and sold to perpetuate their reunion fund. All enjoyed two days of fun and renewing stories and relatives. They reported that the park was very well presented and they wish to thank Coalville City for their work. Una Judd Rognan and family of Chicago are here for a few weeks visiting with her parents, Rulon and Margie Judd, and her brothers Barbara Toole and their children, Michelle, Greg, Brad, Chad, and Bryan; from Idaho, Mel and Shirley, and their children, Scott, Blake, Jason, Melissa, Casey, and Jacob; Tom and Kathy, from Wanship, and their children, Jesse, Jill and Paula; Joe and his children, Gavin, Wesley, Joey, and Matt, from Bountiful; Annette and Ron and children Ronda, Candace, Amanda and Travis from Coalville; Frankie and Don and children, Joshua and Amy, from Bountiful, and Brenda and Brian and children, Brandi, and Brandon from Phoenix, AZ, and the newlyweds of the fam- Brent ily, and Marie, from and sisters. The Cub Scouts in fee area have been attending Cub Day Camp throughout fee summer. With so many other activities going on, the Rhodes Valley Young Women did not participate in any regular Young Women activities. They have been practicing for a Sacrament Meeting program they will be presenting later. The Rhodes Valley did hold a Super Saturday wife a climb up Bald Mountain. Satan met them at the bottom and tried to persuade them not to make the climb. At each Kingdom along fee way, someone tried to persuade them to stay there and not go on.
