| Show john H mcchrystal talks about tintic gintic upon his return to salt lake I ake john 11 mcchrystal gave out the following interview regard ng the tintic gintic district I 1 well I 1 have been identified with the district for a great many years but I 1 ha have hae e no recollection of ever seeing it as as it is today I 1 have been suffering some u with ith in attach attack of rheumatism and on that account I 1 did not dare go into the mines at all I 1 paraded around a great deal how ever and learned considerable of what was doing in various portions of the district the manner in which some of the newer mines and I 1 respects are corn com ing to the front is something to mar vel at on the east side in the region covered cohered by the yankee ila may day uncle sam beck beek tunnel colorado and other propositions the greatest kind of activity pre prevails Nails and sub results are f follow ing the work being done it ia is safe to say also that a good start is just being taken there are some Nond wonderful erful good properties already proved up and I 1 honestly believe thit that several w I 1 mining nett neg continued on page 3 other big producers will be made there during the nett next few months it is impossible to make a trip around the camp now without fully realizing that there is more than sentiment behind the activity it in stocks AN which inch the propel ties represent Fhe rhe manage ments are pushing things and every weeks e development in the op ned mines makes the tile chances of ane prospects in the same vicinity just that must bright r we thought the limits of the camp camps s ore measures were pretty well understood years ago but every year compels us to readjust our opinions opinion and anew real ly looks as th ugh none of us ol 01 I 1 timers had the least leat conception of what he I 1 burned in its rock ril be I 1 chambers of caintic is 1 t wonderful old camp and it is just beginning to assert its reil rei importance |
