The traditional performance features the Esonas and Cheerleaders in several excellent routines. In addition, every year the members of the Drill Team and Mrs. Roemmich, Choreograph and rehearse the third, fifth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth grade girls through routines. The program featured the North Summit Jazz Band, under the direction of Jim Marsh, which was as usual, terrific and a presentation to graduating members of the Esonas and Cheerleaders. and to the mothers who have helped throughout the year. The Third Grade performed "Mississippi Mud," choreograp- hed by Mary Ann Larson, Sue Ann c Nielson. Holly Judd, Janny Oldham and Devini Richins. The Fifth Grade performed "Joshua," choreographed by Stacey Isakson, Lezlie Shaw, Allison Judd and Margie Arnold. The Seventh Grade performed "Robert E. Lee," choreographed Valarie Dearden and Jani Calderwood. The Eighth Grade performed "Shake Your Grove Thing" taught by Barbara Roemmich. The Ninth and Tenth Grades performed "Instant Replay" also taught by Barbara Roemmich. The group presented "The-Pic0 The Pickins and A Pickens Picks a Pardner." A comic play in two scenes about a backwoods hillbilly family and their adventures and misadventures centered around unloading their daughters and ' protecting the family still. The play featured Charlotte Boyer as Maw; Zane DeWeese as .Paw; Debbie Alber as Clarabelle; Joni Jenkins as Sarabelle; Kristy O'Brien as Marabelle; LaRae Downard as Agnes; Ronald Ball as Pembroke Huggins III; Dee Dillree as Dube Dudley and Alan Siddoway as Harvey Hill. In addition, the Drama Group presented the scene from "Bye Bye Birdie," the one act play, the pantomines and the humorous reading which had been entered in Region and State Drama Festival Competition.
