The very special ham dinner with everything which goes along to make it extra good was served to a very large crowd. The table decorations and favors complimented the theme and the program which Reed Moore had planned made the day most enjoyable. Albert Stacey, accom guest was Ira and Letha Miles daughter, Naomi Wilson from Idaho. After dinner, we had our election and here are the results: Elmer Olsen was elected President; Ross Lefler, Second Vice President; Mary M archant, Secretary and Letha Miles and Lucille Simpson were elected board members. Our Past President Marv Simpson, has led us for nine years with his unfailing help and good advice. Due to Marvs diligence, he was instrumental in getting our present building built. 'Hie Seniors had been meeting at the high school for two years. Because Marv always said "It could be he encouraged all the done, Seniors to help get the building built and because he was a good organizer, the building started in April '74 was finished in November, 74. We thank Marv for all his years of guidance, his humor, his leadership and for his wonderful personality. What a beautiful Thursday and being blood pressure day, we had a happy large group. We had a quilt display for all to admire. May Gines brought her three finished quilts. They were from Korea and had been quilted by our quilters. We admired Laura Simpson's finished queen size top and now it is ready to be quilted. Amanda Welsh brought her original design which took many months of crocheting. It was a pleasure to sec all the lovely handwork. Mary Marchant took some camera shots of us Seniors and brought the pictures for us to enjoy. Her camera shots were excellent. Dinner was fried chicken, mashed poatocs, creamed peas, Jello salad, Gussie's home baked bread and apple pie and ice cream. After dinner, we discussed our yearly financial report. We relaxed with our usual activities until it was time for blood pressure taking. Many thanks to the gals who took our blood pressure. bedspread North Summit panied by Rhea Stacey, sang several songs. (Thank you Albert and Rhea.) Natalie Judd, with Carol Hobson as accompanist and ReNae following on the flute sang Its A Small World After All and Catch A Falling Star. This was enjoyed by all. Reed Moore, accompanied by Rhea Stacey, sang two lovely numbers and Reed also told in his way the story of Easter. Our thanks goes out to Reed Moore for the good job he did. Happy birthday was sung to those who had a birthday in April. Several paintings were displayed and the members were reminded to take their arts and crafts up to the school on the 23rd to be a part of the exhibit. Friday, we had our meal a little early so those who wished could go up to school for the very delightful program which they had planned. Some of our members decided to stay in the depot as they were in the middle of a card game. Our week, as you can see was very busy and we enjoyed it very much. Lorrie Jean Robert and Roy Anderson graduate and the LDS Church on a good will trip to the Republic of China, Hawaii, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Twenty-fou- r young men and women were chosen to go young on tour with the BYU Folk Dancers to take a message of love and brotherhood to every country which they visit. They will be joined in Hong Kong by Boyd K. Packer,and President Holland as they enter the Republic of China. Last summer, Robert toured Europe with the same dance team for six weeks, spreading the gospel with their music, dance and song. Rob has completed a mission for x the LDS Church in the Mission in Nova Scotia, Canada. He graduated from South Summit High School, where he was the Studentbody President. He is also a graduate of the South Summit Seminary and has received his Associate Degree from Ricks College in Idaho. Roy graduated last Friday from BYU and received hisSachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science. Roy graduated Magna Cumme Laude with a GPA of 3.9 and was honored at a banquet last week where he received the Outstanding Senior Award, the Animal Canada-Ha-lifa- Robert A. Anderson and Roy S. Anderson, brothers and both sons of Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Anderson of Woodland, graduated from the BYU April 24. Robert, the eldest, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in the field of Child Development and Family Living. Robert was not at the exercises as he had left earlier in the week to represent the USA Woolstenhulme announces wedding date Science Outstanding Academic Award, the Outstanding Block and Bridle Member Award, and also received a silver belt buckle for being a member of the Livestock Judging Team, representing the BYU in the livestock meets in' Intercollegiate Competition. Roy is a graduate of South Summit High School, where he was a Valedictorian, and from South Summit LDS Seminary. He is also a graduate of Snow College, where he received his Associate Degree. He has been on the Dean's High Honor Roll while attending Snow College. Woolstenhulme of Oakley arc pleased to announce the forthcoming wedding of their daughter. Miss I.orric Jean Woolstenhulme to Mr. Bandy ( lloggan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dean lloggan of Salt l.akc City. The couple will be married on May 2 in the South Summit High School Cafeteria in Kamas. Bishop Darwin Woolstenhulme of Oakley. Lome's uncle will be officiating. The newlyweds will be honored at a wedding reception given by the bride's parents at the high school following the ceremony. Miss Woolstenhulme has chosen as her attendants Mrs. Alan (Dana F.) The newlyweds will be making their home in West Jordan. They are both employed by the Utah Power and Light Company. The bride graduated from South Summit High School and Utah Technical College. She has been active in all types of sports. She played softball for many years. She was a cheerleader and also on the South Summit Drill Team. Cody is the son of Manual and LuAnn Downard. Grandparents are Michael and Wilda Peterson of Coalville and Lewis and Gladys Downard also of Coalville. are Jim and Florence Hunter of Hoytsville and Luella Downard of Salt Lake City. Also helping him celebrate this special day were aunts, uncles and cousins. Ice cream and cake were served at his party. Many hours of practice have been invested by the members in order to bring an evening of beautiful music to the people of Heber Valley. The proceeds will go to the local Special Olympics.
