ARIZONA FLOODS several houses washed away at cl afton smelter damaged el paso the wires which have been down between here and clifton aris are open and news is received that one of the floods in the history of the town just pre tailed there the waters swept down chase creek washing out the colo rado railroad between there and met calf and washing away a number ot houses in clifton fhe depot yards of the new new mexico arizona railroad are under water man houses close to the depot are report ed washed away in the rush of water of chase creek into the alla river the smelter was also damaged several railroad bridges were washed near clifton the flood also damaged morenci
