I hope to help them open out to the works instead of boxing in their in- terpretations with preconceived ideas or too hasty conclusions as to their meanings. The speaker in The Road Not taken appears more concerned that he cannot explore both roads than that he has made the right choice between them. "Sony I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could....Then took the other.... Sometimes the issue is not which choice is best for me. Sometimes both or several options appear equally attractive, yet I must choose. I am only one traveler alter all and have only limited time and energy. lake Frost's speaker I sigh and choose, knowing that my choices define me and cut off certain possibilities while opening up others. Instead, it is on the road he does not choose, the possibly more n track.
