The Longhorns were recently picked by the Salt Lake Tribune to wins its region and is ranked No. 2 overall in m-- - ' 7'- y. j V, the Green River. AHS will battle South Summit in Kama. Friday and will host Rangely, Saturday. Union will host Altamont, December 20. The Longhorns had an easy time vs. the two teams, but didn't have a great start as Escalante led 18-1- 6 after one quarter. However, the Longhorns stampeded all over EHS with 26 points while holding their southern Utah opponent to just lOcounten for a 42-2- 8 halftime edge. Altamont pumped in 2 more counters for a 64-4-4 third quarter lead and pumped in 12 mors to win by 21. Garrett Dastrup led Altamont in the win over Escalante with 20 counters, and Tate Sorensen added 16. Joey Meeks scored 13, and Clint Stevenson, 9. Tew and Oman added six.
