Keith and Barbara Rowley have returned from serving an Indian mission in Monument Valley, Utah. Their reports were given on Sunday, Aug. 27, in the Duchesne 2nd Ward. DeVon McKee, Tridell, married Marjorie Wiacomb, Clearfield, in the Bountiful Temple on Sept. 2. The Tridell Ward hosted an open house for them on Sept. 9, from 7- -9 p.m. Stephen and Lisa Remund, along with other family members, attended the funeral of Lisas grandmother, Katherine Myrin, in Salt Lake City. Alan J. O'Driscoll, Myton, passed in Salt Lake City after undergo-Sea- rt surgery. His funeral was in the Myton chapel on Friday, Sept 1. at 11a.m. He was laid to rest in the Strawberry Cemetery. Verl Nelson, Duchesne, hasbeen in Gurney, Wisconsin, whereshespent a month with her daughter and Rita and Bob Adamovich and their family. Then Verl flew back to Clearfield where she spent a week. Her grandson Christopher gave his farewell talk prior to leaving to serve an LDS mission. Betty Jean Sara, wife ofDavid Sam, passed away on Aug. 27 in SprinjrviUa, after suffering from disease. Betty is survived by her husband, five daughters, and three sons. Her funeral was held in Springville on Friday, Sept. 1. We send our love and sympathy to the Sam family. Harold and Orinda Gee attended the 97th birthday party and dinner for Harold's only sister, Henrietta Wilson, on Thurs., Aug. 31, in Roosevelt. Henrietta lives in Helper with her daughter and Lois and Bill Olsen. The Olsens brought her to LaMar and Orienne Wilson's beautiful new home in Roosevelt for the celebration. LaMar is Henrietta's son. Youth hunters do not have to buy a permit for each season, Instead, they can buy a permit for any of the three seasons, and then hunt all three. Youths are reminded that the chance to hunt all three seasons ends as soon as they take a deer. Hunters may not take more than one buck deer in Utah each year. They must also use the proper firearm for the season they're hunting. Only archery equipment may be used during the archery season and a muzzlclooder must be used during the muzzleloader season. During the rifle season, a rifle, muzzleloader or archery equipment may be used.
