Rukm Anderton, who filled up hia 89 yean of life with industry, learning, and an appreciation for nature and family and friends, passed away early Tuesday morning, Sept 5, 2000 in American Fork. Rukm lived the majority ofhislifein the Roosevelt area. Rulon's son Neil Anderton described his father as a farmer Yancher, beginning his work on the family farm and helping his lather herd sheep on the open range and in mountain valleys. He had plenty of experience with that He alwayi had cattle and horses. His favorite thing was going to the livestock auction every Saturday morning. He found real joy in that." Neil said, adding that his rather grew oats, corn, alfalfa and a big vegetable garden on his former farm south of Roosevelt, where he lived until 1998, ayear after his wife, Ruth Sundstrom Golden died. Prior to his death he lived in a condominium in Orem to be near family.
