Jung 6. 2XV Pace 19 Saturday, June 10 -- Hollow to host free fishing day C The Ute Indian Tribe will open Bottle Holkiw on Saturday, June 10, for a free fulling day. Fishing will be allowed all day without a tribal fishing permit for this one day special event Boating permits, however, will need to be purchasedjor a foe of $ 1 0. to launch Vboat into the reservoir, and will be sold at the marina the dfy of the event Free fishing day is an annual event sponsored throughout the United States by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and in Utah hr the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. The Service, the State and the Ute Tribe are working together to make this event at Bottle Hollow fun for the whole family. Angling activities will be the only activities allowed on Bottle Hollow, Reservoir.on June 10. The i&wrvoir and isopen to water skiing, boali-iother water recreation, but on this day, only fishing and boating related to fishing will be allowed, and general water craft safety regulations must be adhered to. A coast guard approved life, preserver must be available for each person on the water craft. No wake will be allowed on the water, trolling speed will be the maximum speed allowed for the day. Over 100 trout have special numbered tags on them that are good for prizes for those lucky anglers who catch them! A kiddie pond" has been established behind the Bottle Hollow office buildings. Kids 7years of age and under will be allowed to fish in this pond and keep three fish to take home with them. Conservation officers and volunteers will be available to assist small children with baiting hooka, tying knots, and casting lines into the pond. Jones Hole National Fish Hatchery will be stocked in the reservoir in the days prior to the event. Several hun was recently awarded Coach of the Year at Slate Drill Team competition.
