Eldredge Michael Burke Eldredge, age 32 ofVemal, formerly ofRoosevelt. died at his home Friday, Nov. 12, 1999. He was born Aug. 23, 1967 in Salt Lake City to Burke and Dearwyn Bowman Eldredge. Mike had great love for hi family and friends who appreciated hi quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. He loved outdoor sports, especially skiing, motorbiking and snowshoeing. He eqjoyed many types of music and expressed his love for modern music with his drumming. He is survived by his fiance, Dendra Shaye" Garcia and her son Skylan, Vernal; parents. Burke and Dearwyn Eldredge, Roosevelt; brother. Jason Eldredge, Salt Lake City; grandmother, BIim Eldredge, and Neola; grandmother stepgrandfather, Grace and Hollis Hullinger, Roosevelt; Aunt Deanna and "Uncle Ralph Lloyd, Midvale; aunt and uncle, Michelle and Bart Morrill, Neola; aunt Deanna Eldredge, Neola; and some very special cousins including Dana Lloyd Hall and Brandon Lloyd whom he considered as sister and brother. He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Marion Bowman and Elmer Bumps" Eldredge and uncle Gordon Eldredge. Funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16 at the Roosevelt 5th Ward LDS Chapel. Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park under direction of the HullingerOlpin Mortuary. Alden W. Muir Justice A. Muir Roscoe Hyrum Justice, age 71, of Altamont. passed away Monday, November 15, 1999 at his home after a long bout with cancer. Preceded in death by brother. Garth Justice and sister, Cora Wood. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 19th, at 12 Noon Alden W. Muir, age 91, of Fruitland, died Nov. 13, 1999 at Stewarts Care and Rehabilitation Center in Roosevelt. He was born Dec. 21, 1907 in Heber City to George and Elizabeth Wheeler Muir. Married Mildred Young Oct. 18, 1929 in Fruitland; she died Sept 14. 1999. He was a life long former and rancher, worked in construction on Moon Lake and Highway 40 with a team of hones. He loved hunting and fishing, working his farm, and eryoyed a good hone and working the sheep and other animals. He is survived by four sons and their wives, Joe and Marie Muir, Jack and Shirley Muir, Ron and Florence Muir, all Fruitland; Ellis and Becky Muir, Duchesne; 15 grandchil Idren, 38 great grandchil - dren, and dren. 4 great great grandchil- He was preceded in death by all his brothers and sisters, Witaon, Millard, Ralph "Dick," and Wallace Muir, Sarah Anderson and Bessie Sweat. They would all eryoy a visit 1924 and was later solemnized in from their friends. The Harold Gees traveled to Verthe Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married 67 years until he nal on Friday, Nov. 5, where they visited with their friend, Marjorie passed away April 27, 1992. She loved and lived the Gospel serving in many callings, among them Stake Relief Society President, 11 yean and on the Relief Society Stake Board for 20 years, as organist in many organizations from the age of 15. She had a lovely singing voice and sang at hundreds of funerals and programs. Arums served as chairman of the history bode Memories of Moon Lake, Boneta, Mountain Home and Talma ge Wards. Her courage and positive attitude were an example to us alL She lived a life of service to her Heavenly Father, the community and her family. He visited with friends he had known years ago. Sherry Kay Rasmussen of Salt Lake spent last weekend with her family. The Rasmussens attended the wedding reception of Leesa Birchell, daughter of Norman and Sharon Birchell, who was married to Curtis Cramer of Vernal. The reception was held Saturday night, Nov. 6, at the Ballard Church in Ballard. Sherry Kay returned toSalt Lake on Sunday. Emily Ralolf, Vernal, had a baby ., girl last Friday, Nov. 5 a 21 inch little one. The newborn will be named Samantha Ruth. Desert bighorn sheep festival November 19-2- 0 A chance to watch desert bighorn sheep engage in combat and courtship awaits Nov. 19 and 20, as the Utah Division of Wildlife Re sources sponsors its first Bighorn Sheep Festival in Moab. The festival will begin at 7 p.m. Nov. 19, with expert turns and slide presentations about bighorn sheep at the Moab Information Center, located at the corner of Center and Main streets in Moab. Wild sheep biologists and researchers will talk about the history, present status and future ofwild sheep in Utah. The life history, habitat and habits of wild aheep also will be discyapol.
