Fred L Dressier, 46, waa convicted last month on two class B misdemeanor counts of theft of services following a bench trial. Last Friday, Nov. 12, Judge Lynn Payne fined Dressier $600 on the charges and ordered him to pay Chucks Meat and Palmers Tire the money ho owes them, with interest compounded at a rate of 10 percent from the day he wrote out the checks. Prosecutors said Dressier had a history of ordering services and then canceling payment for no valid reason. He owed Chuck's Meat $196.46 for cutting up a bull for him. Palmers Tiro was left holding a canceled check for $274.05.
