Morrill is a busy girt She is on a club volleyball team in Provo and attenda evening practice twice a week during basketball and softball seasons. The club also plays in tournaments once a month with meets scheduled in California and Lee Vegss, Nevada. Coach Moms said that the big difference between the two sports is that in basketball an athlete has to run long distances whereas in a person pretty much moves around in a squared off area. She has not only resurrected the Ute volleyball program and turned it into a consistent winner, she has also guided Utah to unprecedented success on the national level. aenre-receiv- e. Under Launiere's leadership, Utah made its first-evappearance in 1999 and advanced to the second round. It is the crowning achievement of Launiere's tenure at Utah, in which she has posted a 4 career record. The winningeet coach in school history, Launiere has overseen s significant transformation since her arrival in 1990. In the last fiveyears alone, Launiere has guided the Utes to four seasons and five upper division finishes in the Western er 177-13- 20-wi- n Athletic Conference. Utah wae unable to tie BYU for first place in the MWC when they lost to the Cougars down at Provo in three games. The Utes drop to 9--3 in league volleyball play, and remain in the No. 3 spot. Bird feeding seminars in Price & Vernal Bird watching and bird feeding are fast becoming popular Ameri-im- e Most department stores can cany a line of bird feeders, hummingbird feeders and a variety of bird seeds. As the population in the United States becomes increasingly urban, setting up bird feeding sta tions is an easy way to stay in touch with nature in your own backyard. The Division of Wildlife Resources is sponsoring two bird feeding workshop. The first will be held Nov. 16, beginning at 7 p.m., at the College ofEastern UUh Prehistoric Museum in Price. The second work shop will be held Dec. 2, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the Division ofWild-lif- e Resources' Northeastern Region office, 15 E. 100 N. in Vernal. The Division hopes to help bird watchers successfully attract a wide variety of birds to their yards and bird feeders.
