Vernal Express - Roosevelt woman facing bad check charges Between 1998, Dec. of 1997 and Feb. of Salt Lake resident Rebel Brunner, is alleged to have written bad checks in excess of $3,000 to Vernal and Roosevelt area businesses. A warrant for her arrest was issued in June of this year out of Judge Paynes court. Brunner was picked up Oct. 27 and transported to the Uintah County Jail.
