Ann Thomas of Salt Lake spent the weekend in Tabiona. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Gines went to Beaver to a wedding far some of their wagon train friends. Then they went to Panguich to talk about their wagon train trek. Vem Stanley and boys of Salt Lake visited Dale and Linda Gines one day this week. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Giles of Draper spent the weekend in Tabiona and Hanna. Sharon stayed with her mother Viola Defa a couple days. Dale and Linda Gines went to a cowboy poetry gathering in Midway Saturday. Ina VanTassel Meyer of Ogden spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jessup VanTassel and family, Mr. and Mrs. Owen VanTassel and Dale and Linda Gines. They and attended a dedicatory session of the Vernal Utah Tempts Monday, with family members while here. Attending church with their mother, Bernice Atwood, was Marva and Merlin Fenn ofBountiful and Canna Berrett of Murray, Utah. Bern will be returning with the Fenns to their home for a visit Ben and Shari Bird of Riverton, Wyoming, wen at Bens parents, Paul and Yvonne, laat weekend then attended a dedicatory session at the Vernal Temple on Monday, November 3, before returning home. Douglas and Mindy Warr traveled from their home in Wyoming to attend the dedication session of the Vernal Temple Sunday afternoon, November 2. Their young son, James, stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Adams while his parents were at the dedications. Dsn and Rava also took care of their Adams grandchildren, sons of Chuck and Stephanie Adams during the second session so they could also attend tha temple dedication. Baby Jessica Rueann has been released from the Primary Medical Center where she has been since her birth with complications of prematurity. Grandma Carolyn says she is doing really well and they are happy to have her home. Joining the Udell and Ruth Winkler family were daughters Amy and Beraadim and a friend, Melanie, of Salt Lake City and Caroline who is attendingUtah State University in Logan. The girls came Saturday to attend the Sunday session and returned home that day; Dennis and Diane Witbeck and their two daughters came from Montezuma Creek, Utah, Saturday, November 1, so they could visit with their family, Dan and Janeal Witbeck Dennis, Diane and girls attended the Sunday afternoon dedicatory session of the Vernal Temple before returning to their home that evening. Norma Ssymanski joined her daughter Mary Bird's family Sunday, November 2, in attending the first dedicatory session in Vernal. She travelled from her home in Ogden to attend. Shana Lee and Rush Loertscher drove to Rupert, Idaho Wednesday, Nov. 5 to keep a dental appointment and to visit with friends. LueAnn and Harold Lloyd spent the previous night in Midway with Rush's mother Dorothy and sister Barbara then visited again on their return trip. Larry and Julie Tubbs have purchased the property owned originally by Jeff and Penny Samuels in the loka area. They have moved into their new home and are getting eettled. Their Bluebell property has been sold to the Gines family. Nina Goodrich ofSpring Glen, has sold her home and property there and has purchased property in Altamont where she has set up a house. Her daughter Bonnie and husband Craig Tew have been helping her with the move and arrangements. After attending their grandfathers funeral on Thursday, Oct 30, Kurt and Jackie Loertscher spent several days visiting with family in Midway and Salt Lake City. While in Salt Lake, Kurt attended a Karate demonstration with his cousin, Derk Loertscher. Jackie spent her time reeearching names at the Family History Center. They returned on Sunday Nov. 1, in time to attend a dedicatory seesion of the Vernal Temple. to all her friends in the Whiterocks area. Kendall Arrowchis and boys, David and Jordan, ofAlia Viejo, California, spent a week with Frank and Glenda Arrowchis. They came to go pheasant hunting, helped Frank and Glenda ship calves,- and helped around the ranch. LaRee and Stephanie Span of Bennion, Utah, spent last weekend with Frank and Glenda Arrowchis. While here, they also spent some time with their grandfather, Bishop Arrowchis, who is in the hospital, as a result of an auto accident Loren and Zella Pike are now great grandparents. A boy, Hawk Thomas Larose, was born to Shares Secakuku nd Kessley Laroee. Sandy Pike is the grandmother - the new addition and his family are doing well. Jennie and Roy Edrington drove to Salt Lake to see the doctor. Jennie had back surgery two months ago, and is now able to do light wprk around the house, although she cannot bend down. The pain is almost gone, but her activities are limited. She is recovering well, and anxious to get back to normal. Dewane and Lova Adams ofWash-ingtoUtah, parents of Cherie Morrill, were visitors with the Morrills. They came for the Temple Open House Monday, and stayed four days. Rim and Sherri Morrill and their four children accompanied the Adams through the Temple. Kay Rasmussen, her son, Wayne, and daughter Sheryl Williams with her three children, drove to Murray, where they helped Sherry Kay move from an apartment to a house she had just bought. Kays comment I'm never going to move! Erma Courtnght flew to Alexandria, Louisiana, where she spent three weeks visiting her mother, sister and brother. Arvn and Maurine Bellon are now in their newly built home. They were helped in the moving over the weekend by their children - Stewart and Becky Morrill and family, of Kaysville; Greg and Mariena Bellon, of Bountiful, and Mike and Sheri Peterson, of Richfield. n, Muril Moooman received visits from her dsughter Helen Frazier, of Carson City, Nevada; Audrey Pectal, of Blue Lake, California; Zelda Elmer and family from Ogden, and Ralph Prescott, from the Uintah Basin. Hie occasion was Muril's birthday, and in addition to all her visitors, she received many cards and telephone calls from all her relatives and friends, in honor of the day. How old is she? She's not telling. Carol Helquist, and one daughter, from Logan, and another daughter from LaPoint, came to visit Muril, ontheirway to go through the Vernal Temple. Carol says she is doing well, and wants to be remembered Marv and Gladys Bell of ARcadia attended the Vernal Temple on Sunday, then they left for their winter home in St. George Utah. According to police, two women going by the names of Lori Taylor and Stacy Coerfey have used checks with the Wild Goose Company name several times at grocery stores in Roosevelt d The owners ofthe Salt Lake company say the checks used by the women are bogus. The information on the check says they are City-base- drawn out of Nations Bank in Atlanta, Georgia and identifies the women as employees of the Wild Goose Company. Police want to put local merchants on notice about the scam and ask them to try and stall the person and call police if they come in contact with someone trying to pass a check bearing the Wild Goose Company name. Fern Bowden, 74 of Myton, wife of Paul passed away on Friday, October 31, at 10 a.m. There was a viewing at the Hullinger Mortuary on Sunday evening from 8 p.m. and another viewing on Monday at 10 a.m. in the Myton Chapel.
