Because railroad tracks and US-- 6 wind their way through Price Canyon, the busy transportation corridor creates dangers for motorists merging into traffic and for anglers who cross the railway to reach the river. To address safety issues, . Division biologists met with the Union Pacific Railroad and the Utah Department of Transportation, to examine safety issues involved in developing fishing access and pull-o- ff areas along US--6 in Price Canyon. As a result, tha US--6 mile marker 223.5 nearthe Ford Creek Bridge aite, and the US--6 mile marker 227 near the Iynn Bridge aito were chosen and developed.
