I Zola Spencer Pauline Winkler Shana Loertscher - 454-39- 53-4528 Pat Barney from Magna spent the weekend with hie mother Vella Barney and hie grandmother Bernice Van Taasell. Mr. and Mr. Richard Stewart of Hurricane and eon, Richie of Salt Lake were weekend visitor with her mother, Bernice Van Taasell Richards wife staved and visited with her mother ana Vella Barney while the men were on the mountain hunting. Rawlin Spencer of Magna visited the weekend with his mother Zola Spencer and his cousin Wayne Baatian and Jeanie, he took care of some work for his mother. Hank Swains son Lyle and Kay Swain of Payette, Idnho are spending some time with Hank and Lois Swain, also spending time with two children JiU Lewis of Vernal and Scott of Montez Creek. Kacey Duncan was home from school in Provo for the deer hunt with his parents Keith and Debbie Duncan. Tom and Laurie Davis and four children of Helper, spent Sunday afternoon with family members at the home of Mark and Trisha Duncan in Ballard. They came to help celebrate the birthdays of El ray Duncan and cousin Wayne. Beaver and Gwen Duncan and family spent the weekend camping and hunting. Roxanne Walker ana boy of Kearns, Shane Duncan of Provo and Tami Jessen of Logan. Shane bagged a 2 point on Saturday. Virginia Ferguson - Coming from Salt Lake City was Scott and Marilyn Lamb Drews, the eldest daughter of LaNar and Irene Lamb. The Drews came to hear Elder Lamb speak. Elva Christopherson and daughter, Leslie came from Orem to be present at the Bluebell Sacrament meeting to listen to Elder Lamb. She is Sandys 76 Velma Monsen accompanied her daughter, LaRae and Hal McDonald to Douglas, Wyoming to visit her grandson Nyle ana his wife, Kim. Nyle has entered the law enforcement services in that area. She was met at the McDonalds home by Eldon who brought her home. Shortly after her return she received word that LaRae had been hospitalized with an accelerated and irregular heart rate. She then was retained because of a blood clot in the calf of her leg. At this time she has been released to go home. Tuesday, October 22 Sam Williams, Brett Wood, and Tyson Iorg were the recipients of the Arrow of Light award at ceremonies held in their honor at the Bluebell Ward Cub Scout Pock meeting. Members of the Order of the Arrow, Gregory Miles, Ronny wood and Justin Jenkins enacted an presentation as to narration by Duane Winkler was given describing the features and achievements of those receiving the award. The boys then pinned label pins depicting the Arrow of Light on each of their respective mothers. Sunday, Oct. 20 a number of friends and relatives were in attendance at the Bluebell Ward Sacrament meeting. Prayers were given by Greg and Wendy Lamb, Stevens uncle and aunt of Provo. At the conclusion of the meeting Bishop Ted Kappen gave remarks. They came to help on the ranch, and to go elk hunting. They reported they were lucky, and bagged a nice elk. They left on Saturday going to visit LaRee Span in Benmon aid flew home on Sunday. Leah and Veri Haslem drove to Park City for a business meeting. While the men worked at their meeting, the women worked at shopping and having lunch together. Chris Wilkcrson, son of Roni Young, and a senior at Union High School and also a football player, was invited to participate in the host program at the University of Utah on October While in Salt Lake, he was escorted around the sports facility by the football operations manager Ted Stanley. He also met several members of the football team. The group toured the campus and relumed to the student residence for the evening. On Saturday, October 19, Chris attended the football game between Utah and Texas Christian, reluming home after the game reporting a wonderful lime. Recent visitors at Lena Daniels home were Bill and June Couts from Nccomcrslown, Ohio. The Daniels met the Couts on one of their many trips to Arizona. The Couts were on their way to Apachic Junction, Arizona for the winter months. The Couts also visited with Did Sanders, staying in Roosevelt for a few days. Also visiting Lena Daniels were her son Richard and grandson-in-laWade Ukcnna from Clinton, Utah. They stopped at Roosevelt after reluming from the Elk Hunt in the area. Verda Wilcken recently relumed from a month-lon- g vacation with her daughter and Julie and John Dove, who reside in Bultcr, Pa. The Doves took Verda on many exciting side trips. They went to the Franklin, Pa. Apple Festival and also to the PA. Colony Festival where she saw about 100 tents of local display items, which might be similar to local fair displays. Also they went to Sharon PA. and toured die DalTin Candy Store where they were displays of 18-1- 9. Her granddaughter, JaLynn, who was ner chauffeur visited with her parents before returning home. Later, fallowing her father Jays urgery, Tracy and JaLynn took their family to visit him. An informal dinner was held at the home of Howard and Maxine Todd for their daughter, Stephanie, Sunday, Oct 20. Family members from Vernal and Roosevelt were present The Gary and Paula Jenkins family stated they have epjoyed the elk hunt because it brought daughter, Jessica and her husband Dave, to Bluebell for the last two weekends from Ogden. The Fletchers live in Ogden where Dave teaches at one of the middle schools.
