Uresk An lone Uresk, age 76 of Myton, died June 2, 1996 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo of cancer. He was bun June 9, 1919 in Myton to Matt Uresk, Sr. and Ursula Scoflanc Uresk. He married Arba Gingell, December 7, 1947 in Myton. He was a heavy equipment operator for the Bureau of Indian Affairs for many years and a farmer. He loved fishing, hunting and camping. With his brothers, n for their big they were well-know- n I baibcqucs. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army and was a member of the Myton American Legion, Post S, for over SO years. He is survived by his wife, Arba, of Myton; Sons, daughters, Larry and Brenda Uresk, Barbara and Ken Richcns, Linda and Brian Jackson, all Myton; Robert and Jeri Lyn Uresk, Neola; Shelly and Ken Hansen, Marilyn and Troy Zufelt, all Myton; 19 grandchildren, 3 great Brothers, John grandchildren; Uresk, Frank Uresk, both Myton, Louie Uresk, Elgin, IL, and Joe Zorko, Sl George. She was bom August 13, 1910 in Deep Creek, Uintah Co., to Ivan Vane and Henrietta Elva Potter Turner. Married William T. Chandler August 17, 1929 and solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1946. He died March 4, 1991. Ivy loved to fly fish, hunt and She horses. was an riding especially good camp cook and enjoyed outings into the mountains with her family as often as possible. She was active in the LDS Church and served in many teaching and leadership positions. She is survived by sons and daughter, Thomas Chandler, Sandy; Ada and Roger Horrocks travelled to Lavcrkin Wednesday, May 22 to attend the graduation for a grandson Gary Sillrc, then spent the week with his family Luann and Gary Sillrc. Cary and Cindy Horrocks and three children of South Jordan spent the weekend with his parents Blaine and Joann Horrocks. Roseann and Lynn Wyatt, son Jeff and Trisha Wyatt and baby of Tooele, Arlene and Gary Brown and two children and son Markay Brown and two boys of Erda, Utah spent the weekend with parents Richard and Rose Olsen and other family members, Doug and Donna Brown, as parents Bernice Van Tasscll travelled to Ml View, Wyoming to attend a grandsons graduation, he is the son of Steven and Beth Humes. Then for the weekend Bernice had company, sons Mr. and Mrs. Larry Van Clc Mcdas daughter Candice and Todd Rollins and baby Dustin from came on Lyman, Wyoming Saturday, May 25, they stayed and went to church with Don and Venice, then left for home after dinner. They did some decorating while here in Neola. Darrell and Ann Mecham of Roosevelt, Dcnnie and Tammie Mecham of Vernal, all went to the Salt Lake Temple to be in attendance while Don and Venices granddaughter, Stcphcnic and Steve Hcifncr and their two sons were scaled together. and Earlcne Smart Parley travelled to Smithficld on the weekend of May 17. They visited v with their son James Smart and his family, then returned home Sunday, May 19 slopping at the Salt Lake International Airport to see their Tyler Thacker before he left for five days to New Orleans. She was bom March 26, 1905 in Castle Dale to Claybum Pratt and Annie M. R. Peterson Elder. She married Farrel J. Rasmussen October 10, 1923 in Castle Dale, their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died December 6, 1988; she was also preceded in death by two sons. Jay Rasmussen, Lcnes Rasmussen arid 4 grandchildren. She and Farrel moved to the Uintah Basin in 1925. She worked for many years as a nurse in the Roosevelt Hospital and for the demist. Dr. Mantyla. She was active in the LDS Church, serving in all the auxiliaries, including Relief Society President for many years. With her husband, she served an LDS mission to Nova and served 9 Scotia from 1972-7years in the Provo LDS Temple. She also had the ability to play the ear and enjoyed playing Siiano by Her greatest love was her children and family and she was a teacher to all. She is survived by six sons, three daughters and spouses.
