Show X Page 18 - UINTAH BASIN STANDARD. September 13. 1994 J. Trujillo L. Hutchings Loman F. Hutchings, 86, passed away peacefully September 9 at his hone in Price. Ha was bam June 3, 1908 in Springville, the son of Silas Hutch ings and Amelia Fillerup Hutch- tags. He married Lenars Rasmus--' sen in the Salt Lake LDS Temple May 25, 1935. Loman served an LDS mission in France, Belgium and Switzerland 1928-193After retiring in 1972, Loman and Lenars served as full-tim- e ordinance workers in the Mand Temple from 1973-7He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1934 where he was a member of the track team. He did work at BYU, University of Washington, Stanford University and Columbia University. The majority of his working years were spent as principal of Wasatch High School in Heber, of Union High School in Roosevelt and principal of Carbon High School in Price. Loman served as president of the Utah High School Activities Association and was later honored by being elected president of the National Federation of State High School Associations with headquarters in Elgin, Illinois. He was active in community affairs, serving as civil defense chairman, president of UBIC and was a member of Rotary and Lions 1. 5. post-gradua- principal-superintende- M. Call Myrtle Deane Anderton Call, 86, Altonah, died September 3 at the Castieview Hospital in Price. She was bom June 15, 1908 in Monroe, Sevier County, to Levi J. and Rocinda Elizabeth Jensen Anderton. She married Elworth Anson Call October 22, 1924 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died October 3, 1974. . Deane was an avid reader, particularly of poetry history and world affairs. She was an active member of the LDS Church where die served in numerous capacities. She also liked to crochet, piece quilts and do other handwork. She is survived by children and spouses, Joyce and Grant Edwards, Price; Norma and Ned B. Mitchell, Altamont; Beth and Reay Jessen, Altonah; Dorothy Jane Call, Heber; Eric Anson and Klancee Call, Reno; Errol Lee Call, Spirit Lake, Idaho; Evan Lynn Call and Monica Kimball, Roosevelt; 19 grandchildren, County Hospital. He was bom August 25, 1948 in Monte Vista, Colorado, to Joe A. and Charlotte Chacon Trujillo. He married Alberta Valdes January 3, 1981 in Murray. He loved fishing. Joe is survived by his wife, of Roosevelt; sons and daughters, Joe Trujillo, Jr., Jena Tnyillo, Donnie Tnyillo, Esperanza Trujillo, Carioe Tnyillo and Arthur Tnyilio; four stepchildren, Dennis Vigil, Johnny Vigil, Andy ' Valdes and Ashley Gonzales; nine grandchildren; his father, of Mesa, Arizona; brothers and sisters, Dave, John, Richard, Mike, Susie, Sallie, Frances, Lorraine, Patricia, Loretta, Christina, Donna and Helen. Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, September 7, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial in the Salt Lake Cemetery. Hutchings (Mary), Sandy; daughter, Cristie Bryner (Bryce), 16 grandchildren; and sister, Price; Vemesse Hutchings, Ogden. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, at Price Fourth Ward chapel, 545 E. 4th N., Price. Friends may call Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Fauaett Mortuary at 680 E. 100 So., Price, and at the chapel one hour before sendees Tuesday. Card Of Thanks . On Saturday, September 3, they attended the fimeral for Mrs. Burton, who waa 93 yean old. A dinner was served at the chapel. Mrs. Burton was taken to Cark Valley for burial. The Pratts returned home Saturday evening. Ray and Lillian Houston and her daughter, Diana Simmons, Tridell, Mortuary: H. Chatwin Harvey Dewane "Grumpy" Chatwin, 69, died September 9 in a Salt Lake hospital. He was bom June 25, 1935 in Tabiona to Gilbert Nephi and Norma L. Tumbow Chatwin. Ha married Sharon Casey in 1961. They later divorced. He was employed for 42 years for Quality Asphalt Company. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by children, Earnest D. Chatwin and Jeffery and Card Chatwin, Salt Lake; nine grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Vivian Curry, Hanna; DeLoy Chatwin, Fresno, California; and Alden Chatwin, Salt Lake. He was preceded in death by parents and a grandson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 14, in the Tabiona Ward. Burial was in the Tabiona Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Don Palmer, Rocklin, California, are visiting with her mother, Delma Long, and family. They had a family dinner with Norman and Joyce Long, Lowell and Fern Long, Laraine and Gerald Mobley, VaLois Morrill and their Card Of Thanks gratitude in words to all of our relatives, friends andout-of-tow- n people who expressed their love of LeVirda Powell to us.
