The scores of each team member are tabulated and then the team which receives the highest score wins the decathlon. A perfect score for an individual student would be 9,000 points with the average score being about 4,500. Rex Todd was able to score 7,700 points, which according to Rawlings is an exceptional score. The team will now proceed to the State Tournament in March at Dixie College. According to Rawlings they have placed in the top five in the past six or seven years at the State Competition. Paying for a cab is much cheaper than the cost of a e driving offense, when you figure in lawyers fees, court costs, an increase in car insurance premiums and time off work to appear in court. 3. Have your friends spend the night at your house. They can go home the next day when they are saber and can drive safely. Anyway you look at it, you win and your friends win. Its not a time to think about unpleasant things. Yet, despite all our wishes or our d plans, tragedy often strikes at this holi caused by an day season-trage- dy impaired driver. We all know the realities about driving impaired. Alcohol andor drugs and driving make a dangerous combination. This year, do what many other Americans do before going out to celebrate the season: Designate a Driver. Have someone from your group agree to only drink beverages and then to drive the rest of you home. This keeps everyone out of trouble, including the person in the other car. But suppose you are the one having the party. How do you make sure that no one drives away from your festivity impaired? Be a responsible host.
