Biahop Micheal Barneck and counselors, Glen Johnson and Marcel Anderson, were released with special thanks. Sustained were Kevin Eracnbrand as bishop and Lars Powell and Joe Hardman. Chuck and Evelyn Barneck, Bountiful, were visitors. Penny Shaw and Ann Tinning went to Salt Lake Tuesday for medical appointments and to visit. Ward members traveling to Provo on Thursday on the temple bus were Dean Hamblin, Fontella Hunt, Clell and Carolyn Woodward, Harry and Fontella Tomlinson and Boyd Powell. Some of the college students home for the weekend were Tamara Hamblin, Salt Lake; Kevin Laird and Chad Hamblin, Logan; Andy Powell and friend, Price. Harry and Fontella Tomlinson Veda accompanied Hatch, Vernal, to Salt Lake to attend the temple marriage of Vedas granddaughter, , Barbra Hatch, to Christopher Piner. They spent a night with son, Brad, in South Jordan. Tomlinsons also attended a reception for the newlyweds in Vernal. Janice Bradshaw and daughter, Shelly, were in Salt Lake during the week for meetings and to visit. They had a birthday party for Heather at her aunt, Johanna Harrisons, home on Thursday. Harry and Fontella Tomlinson were in Vernal on Monday for a funeral for a friend, Mary Tassiner. Max and Nola Nelson and their Bister-in-la- Thursday, November 7, Velma accompanied her son, Mark, and Lori to Kearns where they spent the night with family members, Hal and Larae McDonald. The following day the family group traveled to the Provo Temple Bingo was well attended Thursday. Cliff Wold was a new player. ClifT and his wife, Marion, celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary last week. Mildred Matako was Monsen back. Labrum and his wife, Miriam, furnished a huge birthday cake in honor of Lynns 67th birthday. Tuesday night at the dance "Happy Birthday" was sung. During the noon luncheon Hollis Hullinger played a film on "Building Health Care for the 90s". to witness the temple marriage of their grand daughter and niece, Vicci Monsen, to Pat Reaiy. Robert and Susan Marshall were guests at the MonsenReary temple wedding in Provo on November 9. Rush, Shana Lee and Kurt Loertscher accompanied Jackie Doherty, Roosevelt, to the Provo Temple last week. Karalee is the daughter of Larry and LaRae Nelson, Ogden. Karalee married Brett Nelson, son of Mr. and MrB. Van C. Nelson, Morgan. The couple were married in the Salt Lake Temple on October 8. Monte Roberts, son of Dean and Marlene Roberts, is receiving his Eagle award at the Bluebell Ward Court of Honor which will be held Thursday, November 21. Leo Bird is home from the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake after a three week period of tests. His congestive heart condition and kidney failure have caused concern. Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Nemmers and children, Salt Lake, have been visitors at the Babb Simmons home. Richard Simmons went to Denver this past week to buy cars. Rossa and Bobbi Simmons spent the weekend in Salt Lake. Bobbi went to visit her daughter, LeAnn, and Rossa went to visit her Bisters. Parents of Elder Orlan Wallace have received word from their son thathe is now laboring in Deer Park, Washington and is really enjoying his mission. Paul Kitchen reports that his parents, Elder and Sister Melvin Kitchen are now serving in the Bristol England Mission.
