Diane Freston played several piano selections, Naomi Baldwin sang a song, Anita Baldwin sang a song, then both Baldwins sang together. Harvey and Venla Gee traveled to Salt Lake on Tuesday. They spent time with Venlas sister, Olena Tulgren. The Harold Gees traveled to Salt Lake on Friday. They enjoyed visiting with Max Gee and shopping. Then they traveled to the Temple before returning home on Saturdny. Von and Darlene Thomas had her brothers, James Dean, of Seattle, Washington, Lynn and Bonnie Dean of Etwanda, Calif., and her sister, Vangie Morrell of Pleasant, Calif, visiting with them. They all attended the Dean family reunion held at Hancock Cove. Clayton and Pat Wamsley spent the weekend with Von and Darlene Thomas. Inez Swasey had her grandson, Craig Jensen and his wife, visiting her this weekend. Violet Merkley from Vernal traveled to St George to spend a couple months with her daughter. Maxine Burdick and daughter, Shirlee Reybum, Phyllis Day, Lily Wimmer, and Patricia Holbeins traveled to Island Park, Id., where they spent five days visiting Dorothea Morton. They helped Maxine celebrate her birthday and attended the "Wild horse Stampede". Christine Nation and Lois Stans-fiel- d the Senior accompanied Citizens to the Castle Dale Pag- eant Maiy Jean Robb, Michelle Donna Pitt, and Lois S d spent the day in Vernal, helping Elouise Turner celebrate her birthday, they also visited Robert Turner in the hospital. Lois Stansfield, Donna Pitt, Jill Stansfield, Michelle and Lauri Brummond traveled to Price to visit Veda Keele and Evelyn Brum-mon- Rhodes. Lois Stansfields brother-in-laNewell Anderson, passed away. His funeral was held August 13. La Ree Fleck, from Oregon, a cousin to the Nielsens, recently traveled to the Basin to attend the Nielsen family reunion. On Monday La Ree took some of the family with her to see Sterling Ut., which was founded by their great grandfather. Then they traveled to Salt Lake to see visit Newell Anderson who is in the Holy Cross hospital. Max Birch recently had surgery. Tom Abplanap has been in the St Marks hospital for surgery. Edyth Marett returned from Farmington where she visited Julie and Max Forebush while their daughter, Cami, has been in the childrens hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Geinetti, their daughter Becky, and son from Yucaipa, Ca., were visitors at the home of Laura May Timothy. Mary Thomas passed away Tuesday evening. Her funeral was held Saturday, August 15, in the 1st ward chapel in Duchesne, with internment in the Duchesne cemetery. The Duchesne Bingo will start again on Sept 4, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bingo Room. The Union High School 30th year class reunion was held Saturday, August 10. They met at the Constitution Park for lunch, and later in the afternoon, viewed local talent at the Union High Auditorium. Those who participated in the talent show were Mason Duncan, Gena Malnar, Kevin Braddy, Roger Hullinger, Karen Burton, Encore, Country Cousins, and Dearwin Eldredge. Afterwards they had a tour of the partially completed new school. That evening they enjoyed a Prime Rib dinner at the Grill.
