He waa a farmer and enjoyed working in his garden and in his flowers. He is survived by three sons and a daughter, Glade Peterson, Neola; Duane Peterson, Orem; Dale Peterson,' Redmond, and Cleo Stephenson, Murray; three sisters, Minnie Beal, Orem; Laura Little, Provo, and Mrs. Richard (Maisie) Dye, Brigham City; 12 and 30 great grandchildren grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Kevin Jess Peterson. Funeral services were held Friday, March 24, in Neola. Burial was in the Neola cemetery, under direction of Olpin-Hulling- er Monday, March 27 in Clearfield. Burial was in the Tridell cemetery. T. Wilkerson Thad Wilkerson, 90, Neola, died Tuesday, March 21 at a Jay D. Harvey J. Harvey Jay D. Harvey, 66, Clearfield, a former Basin resident, died March 22 at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden. He waa born January 18, 1923, in Tridell, to James B. and Ethel D. Glinea Harvey. He graduated from Alterra High School in 1941, and served three years in the navy during World War II. He married Veon Rasmussen of Lapoint June 6, 1950, in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a member of the LDS church, had served as Young Mens president, deacon and teacher advisor, Sunday School teacher, Elders quorum president, first counselor in the bishopric, and in the High Priest group presidency in Clearfield. He is survived by his wife. dded in Panguitch until June, 1919, whan they moved to tha Uintah Basin, and settled in tha vicinity of Ioka. After Jamas died in 1961 she and Deane moved to Roosevelt where they resided until the present She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Paul (Mary) Lemon and Mrs. Ralph (Melba) Sharp, Vernal; Mrs. Vincent (Pauline) Salt Lake, and Deane Lloyd, Roosevelt; 11 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas Partridge and Arthur Partridge, both of Panguitch. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 29, at 11 a.m. in the Roosevelt LDS West Stake Center. Friends may call at the Mortuary Tuee-da- y from 7 to 9 p.m, and Wednesday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Ioka cemetery. Fag-giol- er Shayleen Vemita Copperfield, daughter of Lionel and Vonda Rogers Copperfield, died March 21 in the Primary Childrens Medical Center, Salt Lake. She was bom March 8, 1989 in Roosevelt She is survived by parents, Whiterocks, a sister, Dreena Copperfield, Arizona; grandparents, Chesley and Ruth Rogers, San Carlos, Aria.; great grandmothers, Ethel Mills and Ruth Quinn Cuch, both of Ft Duchesne. Funeral services were held Friday, March 24 at 2 p.m. at the Whiterocks Episcopal Church. Father Peter Maupin officiated. Burial was in the Ft Duchesne cemetery. Whit-erock- s, M. A display and refreshments followed. The baby son of Naomi and Danny Bird was blessed and given the name of Joshua DeLoy Bird Sunday, March 5, by his father. Those from out of town hers for the special occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Milton Ricks (Naomis parents), and her two brothers, Jay Ricks and his wife and Duane Ridu, all of Rexburg. The Ricks family also visited in Upalco with her brother, Oscar and Reva Nelson, whom also attended church in Bluebell Sunday. Spending the Easter holiday weekend hero with her parents were LaRae and husband, Hal McDonald, and son Nils; and another son, Kevin and Julie McDonald and two children, Jenna and Michael, and another son, Tony and Terry and baby, all of Kearns area. Tony and his family will soon be moving to Idaho. Bruce Jenkins and his wife, Salt Lake, spent the Easter weekend here with his parents, Howard and Fontella Jenkins. Visiting at the home cfhis sister, Garda and Wallace Seeley during the week were Floyd and Ada Goodrich, Covina, Calif., and Mrs. Dolores Monsen, Vernal The Goodrichs also spent time in Vernal and Salt Lake with family members. It was a ftm Easter weekend at the Dean Roberts home here in Bluebell when family members gathered together and had their Easter baskets. Those here were Steve and Yvonne Shaver and two boys, Salt Lake; Starling and Melanie Roberts and baby girl Greg Roberts, Calvin Roberts, all of Salt Lake area; Mrs. sharon West and childran, Aberdeen, Idaho. Emma Lou Kapp of Idaho spent the weekend here with her mother, Mrs. Arsula Bird, and other family members. Porter and Lydia Merrsll, Duchesne, and LaVoir and VaNeil Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Shields drove to Provo last week. While there they visited at the home of Dr. and Mrs. William Soronsen. Zelma Lloyds nephew end his wife, David and Margaret Lloyd, were in Roosevelt last week and aqjoyed visiting and dinner with her at her home. David is Lomond Lloyds son, who is a former resident of this area. It was the first time in over 20 years that David has visited in the area. Launa Mantyla Wyson and her three daughters of Sandy visited last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Grover and with other friends in the Roosevelt area. Teresa Keddy Richardson and son of Heber were in Roosevelt last week visiting friends and relatives. Teresa works at the Homestead in Heber. Vickie Manning Meece and children have been guests at the home of her parents, Larry and Pearl Manning in Roosevelt. Vickis resides in Cortez, Cola Cindy and Chelsye I vie end her sister Susan have been visiting last week in the Roosevelt area. Cindy lives in Twin Falls where she is studying to become a realtor. Randy Bathers, Albuquerque, N.M, has been in Roosevelt this last week visiting with friends and relatives. Thure and Lillian Carlson were guests at the El Segundo, California home of their son, Lloyd Erick, March He was recently called as a regional representative for the LDS Church in the Oakland area. 12-1- 5.
