You maybe a perfect host family for an Experiment in International Living, sponsored by the Roosevelt Womens Service League. The Experiment in International Living is currently seeking additional qualified host families. The group will be in Roosevelt from August 1 through August 15, with 2 young men and women of junior high age accompanied by a leader. In addition to participating in your familys daily activities, group activities will also be arranged once a week by the local project coordinator. Chosen by the Japanese National Office on the basis of their flexibility, maturity, and motivation, these young experimenters" oiler friendship and warmth to their host families and bring part of their world to our community. A host family provides hospitality to a participant while learning first hand about another culture. The youth bring their own Bettys birthday, so the dancers sang happy birthday to her. We wish them many more happy Our Easter Parade dance was deemed very successful, according to Grace Hullinger. The men furnished the food. Winners of the best Easter bonnet were Mrs. Mitchell, Duchesne, and Alton McAllister, Vernal. It was good to see Aften Rich-en-s out dancing alter having surgery on his feet You can tell how much he loves to dance. Last Friday the senior citizens dance hall in Vernal was filled to capacity. The dance was given by Dick U fford and his wife, Betty, for their 10th wedding anniversary. It also happened to be years together. Some of our senior citizens enjoyed the Roosevelt Bowl Fun Center Monday. Many of us had not bowled in years. This reporter could not even make it to 100. Those at the center are offering another free day April 3, so come out and join in the flm. The friendly operators would like to form a senior citizens team. It is only $1-4per line. President Benson gave a report on the recent board meeting held in Springville. She also dismissed tha April meeting, which is to be a trip to the ballet, and a tour of the governors mansion. Two now members, Paula Bell and Kathleen Lynch, were welcomed into tiia organization. Kathleen is employed by Nielsen and Senior as a legal assistant, and Paula, a former member, is in between jobs.
