March 29. 1989 offers backstage view of British humor in play Subtle British humor, laced with a bit of madness, provides the substance for Noises Off, a new play by the Brigham Young University Drama Department The play, which opens March 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Pardoe Drama Theatre of the Harris Fine Arts Center, is in its filth year on Broadway. Performances at BYU will continue Tuesdays through Saturdays until April 15. The effort earned was recognised in 1987 and 1988, as the winner in the Take Pride in America program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Interior.
