August 3. 1988 Former resident dies in California Ned (Rusty) Allred, 77, a former cattle driver in Nevada, and a Southern California Edison Company employee, died June 20 at hia Santa Barbara home. He was born August 8, 1910 in Nevada, a son ofErvin R. Preston, ' Allred and Ethel Lorigan Alhed. As a youth he drove cattle on the open ranges ofNevada, and was on the last cattle drive into Goldfield, Nevada in 1928. In the 1930s he lived in Roosevelt. He moved to Santa Barbara in 1948 as an employee of Edison Electric. He retired in 1973. Mr. Allred was a member of BPOE, Santa Barbara Lawrence Pinnecoose, and Gay la Pinnecoose, Randlett; Claris Portland; LomiePinnecooee, Ft. Duchesne; Wendy Cuch and Alvin Pinnecoose, both of Ft Duchesne; half;brothers and sisters, Arthur Patterson, Salt Lake; LeRoy Pinnecoose, Santa Fa, N.M.; Guy Pinnecoose Jr., and Claudine Pinnecoose, both of Ignacio, Colo. Funeral services Wednesday, Aug. 3, at 2 pjn. at the Randlett LDS chapel. Friends may call at the family residence in Randlett Tuesday evening and Wednesday prior to the service.
